Good Morning Illinois.

This is the last weekend of Feb! We are over the hump of winter. Spring is less then 4 weeks away.

I got a lot of stuff done yesterday. Have a few more things to finish today before we go to see Morgans play.

Tomorrow, is all mine to do what I want. I am sure playing on the computer will take some time up.

What are you doing today?

Nancy, you got approved, good for you. Now, resubmit, so you can get the time off again.

BTW, we got about 1/2 inch of the white stuff again last night.
Hopefully, it will all melt.

Huggers,
LISA

Hello everyone

I left work later than I thought because there was an issue with one freakin check.  The system won't let you close out a batch if 1 check out of 50 isn't assigned.  If we don't close out the batch at month end it will bomb out the system.  So I had to stay till this was fixed.  I still went to workout, but I didn't get all of my errands done.

I have some errands to run today and of course some cleaning around the house.  Then that;s it I'm relaxing for the day.  I still have to go to Walgreens...I haven't done that yet.  And I have to go to Walmart because the shirt I ordered is all wrong...wrong shirt, wrong color, wrong size.  I am also shopping for a programmable crock pot.  One that I can set to only cook for 8 hours, even though I am gone for 12 hours.

I hope everyone enjoys their Saturday.  See ya later

Go to slickdeals.net.  JCP has a programmable one on sale for $20!  Good deal!

OMG!!!  I went online and saw the crock pot.  I ran out and bought it but it was less for me because I had a $15 coupon!!!  Yeah!!!  I'm so happy I can try out my crock pot tomorrow night.  Thanks for the tip.  That is a really cool website.  Thanks

Morning folks!

We slept in. I have a few things to do in the house and then later this early evening we are going to dinner with friends out in Bartlett. That is about it.

 Atternoon everyone!

I slept in this morning and am taking it easy today.  This cold is taking hold.  It probably is a good thing that I did not get approval for surgery as I feel sick with this cold.  The cough is nasty.

I talked to the office manager at the surgeons office yesterday.  I relayed all that had happened and voiced my displeasure and stated that I still wanted surgery and I expected to have surgery.  Also I wanted the person that caused the hang up to realize the consequences that their actions  or lack of actions caused.  This was not an inconvenience but a HUGE mistake.

I am waiting for a reschedule and will move forward when it comes.  Hopefully it will be soon, but I have a feeling we are talking months.   I had wanted to get it done before we had a new system installed at work and were trained for it.  I did not want to miss training nor did I want to start using the new system and then go out on leave.  It is a MAJOR change for work.

We have just had a dusting of snow here.  Maybe 1 inch total if that much.  Roads are clear and all is melting.

Crystal, I have never heard of a programable slow cooker.  You do have to be cautious about food safety.  Food cannot be kept between 40 and 140 degrees for more than 2 hours and that includes cooling time.  Any timer system could put the food in this danger zone.

Lisa and Monica, Sussical sounds like it will be wonderful entertainment.  Enjoy!

Lisa, I am sure Hubert is anxious to get back to work on Monday!

Dawn, Hope you get a chance to catch your breath between all the running this weekend!

Georgia, hop you feel better soon.

Christine and Dave, hope all is well.

Everyone have a great weekend.  Make it special and enjoyable for yourself!

Oh no the food doesn't sit unheated.  what it does is cook the food for what ever time you set it for (so lets say 8 hours) when the time is up it automatically switchs to warm.  It keeps your food at a nice warm temp and no longer cooks your food at the higher temp.  Perfect for me since I'm gone from about 5:30am to 7pm most days.  So no worries.
