Thursday Roll Call
Hello everyone
I am not happy about the 2-6 inches of snow we might get....let's hope the weather men are wrong about this.
I have to leave work extra early today (at 3:30pm) because I have a doctor's appointment and I have to go pick up my debit card from my bank. So today it's work, pick up debit card, doctors, Barnes and Noble, Walgreens, home.
There are still so many new people in the gym. Some of them don't have any idea what they are doing. When I first started to work out I researched how to do things correctly...so I didn't hurt myself and also so my workouts were efficient. I mean why go to the gym if what you are doing isn't helping...you are just wasting your time. I don't know why someone would start lifting weights without having some idea of how to do it correctly??? All you have to do is read a book. There are some characters at the gym...one lady talks to herself, one guy grunts and makes noises throughout his workout, still another guy is so loud on the treadmill when he runs I can feel my treadmill vibrating. I guess I look for entertainment to make the time go by faster...and I made my own entertainment. hahahaha.

I am going to work, then to Krogers. Then I will be home. Hubert got the new tv hoooked up last night. Now to redo the selves and put stuff away. Pictures will be posted as soon as I can get them taken.
I am out the door. I am so glad this was a short work week.

Good morning Crystal and IL friends.
I spent the entire day at Alexian Brothers yesterday. My sister is doing well and had all her procedures. The new private rooms are nice and spacious! I will be visiting her after work today.
Had a good workout this morning. Tomorrow I will do double duty - exercise at the fitness center and snow shoveling.
Looking forward to the upcoming weekend!

Good Morning!
They are calling for up to 8 inches of snow for us tonight. Thankfully it will not last long. Snow in December and you can see it for 3 months. Snow at the end of February and maybe only a few weeks.
Off to the drivers license office to get a rules of the road book for Scott. His birthday is on the 9th and he has to take the written test this year. I don't think he has taken it in 30 years so he is a little nervous about it.
Have to work til 7 tonight. I am starting to feel better. Just wish this cough would go away.
Have a wonderful and safe day today!

How is everyone doing? I am good. Sorry I haven't been on here much,just haven't really had alot of chat about. Two wks from tomorrow is the day I go down to Herrin HP for my seminar. I am hoping these one will be one the ones who do my surgery. I am gettin to the point if they don't do it I will be fat the rest of my life. So I am prayin that they will be my prayers answered. Cause I have been tryin to get banded for almost 2 yrs now. I am tried of being the fat non energetic mom(to some I might be lazy but I am not). I just don't have energy to do much. I am sure you people know how I feel right now.

Crystal-I cannot stand the grunters at the gym!!!!! Before my husband and I were married, we worked out at the same gym and he was a grunter! Needless to say, he does not do that anymore! At my gym, they do this boot camp thing where the trainer sits in the front of 20 or so treadmills and yells at the people on the treadmill. It is more annoying than the grunters!
Nothing going on for me today. I am feeling crampy and gross since my monthly friend came to visit. So I feel lazy and sleepy. I also keep waking up with a headache. It goes away with a couple tyenol (sp) but it's odd that this keeps happening. No fever so it could be from my monthly friend.
No cooking tonight. I have left overs from the rest of the week. The really nice part of the new stomach is the savings on food! One meal can last me 4 meals now!
Stay safe tonight if you have to go out or even tomorrow morning on your way to work!

I have a Dr. Appt tomorrow afternoon and was going to take half a day off. Am fighting a cold...and not winning, so after hearing the weather report (south of Chicago maybe 6-8") I'm just gonna take the whole day off and have a long weekend! YAY!
Like everyone, am SO ready for spring. At least we are on the "downhill" side!
Hopefully the snow won't prevent Chloe from coming up. If she is here, we may go to a matinee musical of Godspell on Saturday at the local university. We'll see how I'm feeling by then!

Hello Everyone!
I am still here and still waiting.
At this point, things do not look good for surgery tomorrow. I found out this morning that my doctor did not do what the insurance company requested. They wanted him to call in for a peer to peer review and instead, he sent additional paperwork. 
I don not understand what part of this he does not get. You have to play the game with the insurance company, you cant do it your own way. ARRRRGH.
So now I am sitting here trying to figure out how I undo my FMLA and all that I went through to get this surgery. If the doctor gets his act together there may be surgery at another date but that remains to be seen. Can we say FRUSTRATED????
I dont know whether to look for a different surgeon or what. I cant believe that I am going through this nightmare. There still is a slim chance of it still being approved today but I am not holding my breath. If you hear any screams, it is just me.
I have no control in this situation and I am a planner and this is driving me nuts! I am somewhere between furious and tears depending on the moment but there is not much I can do. I am also in a state of disbelief. I tried to pull some big guns in today only to find out it is not all the insurance company's fault but the surgeons. I am just thankful that my sister did not fly in from Florida for this nonexisting event. I had finally accepted that I needed surgery to only be faced with ths. ARRRGH!
