Post Op on IL Medicaid

I am 4 years post op, had my surgery in another state, but now live in IL and am on Medicaid. I have been having some complications & my PCP hasn't been able to help. She has suggested I see a bariatric dr familier with WLS however I am on Medicaid and having a horrible time finding one. I am willing to travel pretty much anywhere in the state if any of you know of one. My PCP referred me to UI in Chicago, but I gave them a call & they said they were no longer taking Medicaid patients.

Hi, McKenzie, and welcome to the IL board. Have you looked through the posts (I know it has many responses) at the top of the message board? It might have an answer for you.
