Saturday Roll Call
Hello everyone
I am up bright and early on a Saturday...I'm not happy about that. I would love to sleep in late...but I never can.
Warning TMI subject coming up-
Yesterday's cookies upset my stomach. I think I am so strict about not eat fattening food that when ever I eat something really fattening it upsets my stomach. It's like my stomach lost the ability to digest it correctly. Needless to say I ate 3 peanut butter cookies and ended up with diarrhea. This happened to me before (with fried chicken and movie theater popcorn). Also, my hemorrhoids came back. It hurt enough last night that I couldn't finish my work out. I was able to do my groceries fine but it was too much pain to work out.
I had a couple of really good coupons so I was able to buy a pair of jeans (that fit) and a top from JCPenneys for $26...they fit me nicely and I bought them from the misses section...yeah!!!
Today I have plans to go to the movies, go out to eat, and hit Borders in Bolingbrook...because it's going out of business, and then Goodwill. I also have some house work to do and laundry to do today....Tomorrow is for relaxing today is for running around.
Nancy- I'm sorry your insurance is giving you the run around. Insurance companies...can't live with them...can't blow them up.

It looks like shopping is the word for today as we are going out to some thrift stores in Schaumburg and Hoffman Estates. I found a couple hats yesterday to display my necklaces on at the flea market but am still on the hunt for a dressmaker's bodice. I also need to stop in at Home Depot for a light for one of our pot lights. Dave also wants to get out because he has cabin fever.

Good morning Christine, Crystal and the rest of Illinois!!
I have an exciting me day ahead. Well semi me, alot daughter and mom day!!
This morning, I am off to get my hair cut as well as my girl's. One of the teaching assistants at my school works in her parents hair salon and does great work. I have very thick hair and she understands how to cut it. I think from our school she cuts about 25 people's hair. Not bad for her!! Great for me! The family's salon reminds me of the salon in the movie Steel Magnolias. Small and cozy.
After our hair, I was invited to a Purse Party. Similiar to that of the Tastefully Simple and Pampered Chef parties. I need to stop by as this is the second party I have been invited to. It will be fun, but the product is a bit pricy. Need to keep my daughter from spending my paycheck!!
Then... surprise surprise.. a friend of mine from highschool is visting the area and we are meeting up! It has been over 20yrs since we saw each other last. I think the last time we saw each other I was a size 14. I am a 20 now but hey!!! I am not the size 30/32 I was before surgery!
Enough about me.... how is everyone doing?

I just discoved this forum and wanted to say hi! I just had a revision from a lapband to a RNY 2 weeks ago. So, my Sautrday will consist of me watching a lot of TV and wishing I was strong enough to go outside to enjoy the sunshine (this has been a really hard surgery for me)! Oh well, in the scheme of things, missing a day of sun is a small price to pay to be back on the losers bench!
