Friday Roll Call
Happy Friday everyone! It is a 3 day weekend for me. I need the day off. Dave's doc apt. went well yesterday. He was given the ok to drive again.
I have a couple of errands to run after work this evening and then to just lazzzzzz around and watch TV in the evening.
What is going on with everyone else? Hope Lisa and Hubert have a safe drive to St Louis.

That is very quick for Dave to be driving. Three day weekend for us as well. I have to go back and read a bit as I have been busy running around and not showing up here. Not losing or gaining for the last two months but not making a concerted effort to lose either. Mainly nervous eating is a problem right now and it is not even nervous I just have extra energy and nothing to fill the time as I am on the patch again to stop smoking cigars.

It Friday!!! Yeah!!!
I am wearing a pair of pants I bought at the thrift store over a year ago. I bought them wayyyyy too small but they were so cute I thought well one day I will be able to fit in them...well one day is NOW!!! I am wearing them right now. When I first bought them they went just past my knees when I tried them on. I love doing this. I think I am going to the thrift store this weekend and buying something two sizes too small and see how long it takes for me to fit in them. To me that is more satisfying and fun than seeing the scale go down.
Today I have to workout, then go to JCpenneys, then Walmart, then Kohls, then Walgreens. Does anyone know if Fannie May sells sugar free choclate??? A friend of mine...her birthday is this Monday and I would like to treat her with some yummy candy she can eat.
Well Christine- I'm glad to here to you are going to be lazy tonight!!! We all need our breaks. Good to see how fast Dave is coming along.
Nancy- I am sure your recovery will be speedy too...because I will be sending lots of healing vibes.

Resale shops=fun, fun, fun. It is amazing how many people just give away perfectly good clothing that is still in style. I am going over to our local shop today to see if they have anything that I could use to sell my necklaces at a flea market/craft fair at Itasca Fest. I am looking for a dress makers dummy and a styro mannequin head also cute straw hats to display them as bands on the brim.

Glad to hear that Dave got "sprung" to drive! He seems to be doing great!
I LOVE thrift shops too. We have a very nice one in Freeport. Almost everything I own was purchased there.
It is FINALLY FRIDAY!!!! I am SO happy! I am leaving work early today to take David to an audition. He was not going to audition for this show, but the director called and personally asked him to PLEASE set up a meeting ASAP!! We are going to squeeze it in this afternoon before the boys leave for their camping trip. Then it will just be me and Liv tonight. Amber & Riley are coming out tomorrow for "girlie night". Fun, fun, fun!!!!!
I tried the "Havarti, Salmon Scramble" yesterday (and today) and it is yummy! My co-worker thought so also.
That's about it for me at the moment.

Good Afternoon everyone!
Christine, I am sure both you and Dave are glad he can drive again! I think I got the ok at my 3 week appointment as well. That sure was welcome news to me. I am glad the healing is going nicely.
I too am glad it is Friday. I got sprung early from work and went to Pet Smart to stock up on cat supplies while I am not driving.
Then I came home and received a phene call from my surgeons office that they got a notice that my insurance was withdrawing approval of my surgery! Ugh. Now the doctor has to do a peer to peer review with the insurance company and explain why as a neurosurgeon he is more qualified to make the decision that I need surgery based on his examinations and my tests. Has the insurance company examined me? Nooooo. Have they seen my MRI's or x rays? Negative.
So how can they determine that it is not medical necessary?
And of course this is Friday at 4pm so none of this can take place until Monday. Sigh. I do thank everyone for the positive vibes. I will get through this. Just one more bump in the road.
