GOOD MORNING IL! Well, you cannot get the early bird out of this girl even on a Saturday. I think I have caught up on my rest, hopefully.

I have several errands to run today with gift cards to buy (Jewel here has a whole rack of close to a 100 stores), thank you cards, Home Depot and then over to Costco to take another walk through before we buy our membership there. If I have any energy after that I have some floors, vacuuming and dusting that needs attention.

 &

ps - Dave was worked hard by PT yesterday and is sleeping in his PCM right now. He talked with a friend of ours from church who had both knees done at one time and she told him that his range of motion and recovery is far faster than hers.

Hello everyone

I am relaxing right now watching Law & Order and eating eggs.  This is what I have been waiting for all week.

I have decided that I am going to try to return the gifts I bought for my friend and her family for Christmas.  it's obvious I am not going to have the opportunity to ever give them their gifts.  I am sure the items I bought from Walmart can be returned.  I don't know why I didn't realize sooner that something was wrong.  I guess I was in denial...I kept thinking she was busy....not avoiding me.  So I am spending the day returning items.  To try salvage something out of this I am going to buy something for myself with the returns.

I bought a new electric blanket yesterday.  The new one is better than my old one.  I love it.  It's very cozy.

Christine-  it sounds like Dave is moving along fast.  I know PT can be very painful.  When I was 19 I was in a car accident that left my arm badly broke.  After it healed I had to start PT.  OH it was so horrible....I would have trouble sleeping from the pain.  So I can relate to the pain Dave feels after a session.

Have a wonderful Saturday.  See ya later.

Good Morning,

The sun is out, it is bright, a good day for doing errands. So, Christine and Crystal, have fun.

Yesterday afternoon I did the weekly shopping, and before I left the Kroger mall area, I was trying to remember if I needed anything at the $ store. I couldn't think of one thing I needed, so I came home.

Dave has a great nurse.

Today, I am baking Valentine cookies for home and work. I have them baked, so later this morning i will decorate them.

No plans for today at all.

Have a great, safe, day.

Huggers,
LISA

Good Morning!

Hubby is sick this morning.  Thinks he has a touch of the flu.  We have all been sick within the last week.  First Morgan, then I got the same thing she had (but was able to fight it off thanks to my vitamins) and now Scott.  Of course, it is much worse for him.....or so he says!

I have decided to go back to college and was waiting for my counselor to call all morning.  I had an appointment set for 9:00 this morning but have not been in touch with him.  Now I should prob start the dishes.

We are supposed to be going to a grade school production of School House Rocks tonight.  Not sure if we are going now since Scott not feeling well.

Grocery shopping, laundry, dishes and some cleaning are in order today.  Tomorrow Morgan has a school concert that she is singing in.

Have a great day!

 Hello Everyone!

Happy Saturday!  It is so nice outside!  I cant believe I am saying that when it is only 36 degrees but it feels warm after this past week and some snow is melting so I am happy!

Christine, I am so glad that Dave is progressing so well.  That range of motion is so important!  It is good that he is on the high side of it!  Yeah!

Crystal, I am so sorry that your friend pooped out on you.  That is so sad.  You deserve better!  It is HER loss, not yours.

I am goining to go grocery shopping this afternoon.  House is cleaned.  No other plans for the weekend.  My back has been hurting all week so I will be taking it easy.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Good afternoon,

I already took a nap and feel like a slug! I hear all you doing errands, cleaning, baking cookies and I feel like a lazy bum! I do have to take my boys to weigh in for their wrestling match for tomorrow....and I'm making them a meatloaf, but other than that, nothing!

I ate some chopped up turkey breast with a little melted cheese. I must have ate it too fast, it got stuck and I had to vomit. First time that happened. I know I have to change how I eat....I have always eaten too quickly. But a lesson learned! The funny thing is, I felt better immediately. Grossed out my husband when I tried to eat again right away

Hope everyone gets all the errands done so you can enjoy a relaxing evening!

Take care,

Jules
