 Good Evening Everyone!

I am so glad it is Friday!  It was a slow, long day at work.  Calls were spaced just far enough apart to make the time drag.

Dawn, I hope you can kick back and relax this weekend without a lot of drama.

Crystal, I am so happy for you.  You too Lucy,.  Lucy, I agree with Lisa, it is so good to see you posting.

jules, I am sorry you have to go back into the hospital to get that wound cleaned out but that might make a big difference in its healing.  Hopefully you wont be in there long.

Christine, it is exciting to hear that Dave is graduating from home PT  That shows he is improving!

Lisa and Monica V  I would have loved to see Riverdance.  Very exciting!

Not much planned for my weekend.  I plan to lay low.  Have a great evening!

Nancy, he is not exactly graduating from home PT. He has 14 in house visits for the nurse and PT (each - with both insurance companies). This Thursday is his first PO visit to the doc. Dave hopes the that the PCM will stay in house for a while longer. He really is benefiting from it.

Christine, I went to work in the morning and when I came home that evening he was still in bed and was breathing but was not coherent and his eyes where rolled back in his head. Called the ambulance. His sugar went to low and he wasnt getting oxygen to his brain. Hes starting to move much more but still is not following comamands or focusing on anything but hes doing a little progress all the time. been 3 weeks today.

OMG...that is terrible.  How frightening that must have been.

My grandma had the same thing happen to her only her blood sugar was super high.  It happened right in front of me.  I didn't realize how dire the situation was and chose to drive her all the way to her hospital...I should have called 911.  She just acted really sleepy and drunk at first.  By the time we got to the hospital she didn't know who I was or who the president was...those were some of the questions they were asking her.
