Monday Roll Call
Good Morning Illinois.
It is cold, but sunny. I guess we have to be thankful for the little things, like sun and blue skys.
Did everyone enjoy the game and commericals last night? My favorite was Darth Vader. He was on the Today show this morning, and isa cute 6 year old.
My work day is starting bad. No one got the drifts way from our door, but the other door was opened. So we spent 20 minutes trying to get one of the guys in maintennace to come out and open us up.

We went to Todd's softball buddy's house to watch the game. I missed lots of stuff because "us girls" were talking.
My day has begun a little better today and I am not half as cranky as I was yesterday. I am still annoyed with Todd's family, but that is just part of our lives. They are annoying people.
I hope Crystal is having a great "ME" day. She deserves it!

Hello Everyone!
I am at home today. I slept wrong last night and my neck is killing me and my arm is totally numb with pains shooting down. Fun --- NOT. It will pass but takes awhile to work its way out. I just wish the surgeon would operate on both my back and neck at the same time. I am getting tired of this neck thing.
Dawn, I hope your day is better today. I find it quite amusing when parents are so two faced about their kids. Not you but your inlaws. It is too bad that they cannot recognize the achievements of their nieces and nephews. As a parent I would be fuming too.
Lisa, sorry you are still having to deal with all that snow.

Hello everyone
I'm feeling much better today. Amanda and I talked for a long time last night and she made feel much better. It was very sweet of her to let me go on and on about everything that happened. She is great.
Today was a good day. I got my tire fixed. Then I went to JCPenney and they have 80% off racks. So I was very excited to find a khaki colored cordouroy jacket for $4.97!!! So I have a spring jacket now. I also bought some new underwear. I got my nails done. Then I went to Meijer and bought some Weigh****chers ice cream treats. Now I am home under my electric blanke****ch Law & Order eating my ice cream treats. I'm glad I took the day off.
I have come to some conclusions that in order for me to live a peaceful life I am going to cut ties with my sister. She has her inheritance and she will be busy spending her money...at least till it lasts. My brother is a sad thing. He isn't mean or vicious the way my sister is but he has demons that rule his life right now. My best friend well I'm not sure...depending on what time of the day it is I have a different answer. Some times I think if she comes and apologizes I will accept...other times I think I won't accept. I don't know but I do know I tried to call her enough and the ball is in her court now. I am not calling her any more.
I might go outside and do some shoveling. Things are still messy from the snow yesterday and of course the landlord hasn't done any clean up. It will be good exercise. I see we are in for really cold weather this week. The groundhog better be right...I'm looking forward to an early spring.

Boring day around my house. I had a Girl Scout Leader meeting this am, then a killer gym session. Now doing laundry and cooking, trying to get ready to work three 12 hour shifts in a row. I've gotten a little off track and been eating too many carbs lately, so I've committed to bringing my lunch and healthy snacks to work all this week. I know that all the planning is the key to success, but BOY it sure eats up a lot of time and energy!
Crystal, it must be very hard to deal with your family AND your friend and still take care of yourself mentally and physically. I'm glad you are trying to set some limits on letting them affect you emotionally! I don't know you except through this board, but you seem like a very thoughtul person and a wonderful Mom and friend. I hope you won't let anyone make you think otherwise!!!!! Hugs to you!
