Saturday Roll Call
Hello everyone
Well I was going to go to work this morning but on my way out I slipped and fell on my butt...ouchy!!! So now I'm back inside trying to relax...but my butt hurts. Times like this I would like to have some of that extra padding I lost.
Yesterday I ordered new sweat pants on line. I love the Danskin line from Walmart. I have sweat pants from JCPenneys, Avenue and other places but my favorites are from Walmart. Which is good cause they are only $11. They fit perfectly and they are nice and long...which is good because I'm 5'9". I also bought some t-shirts to workout in.
One of the things I want to do today is look into beginner yoga classes. I have been working on my flexibility and would love to try yoga. If I like it I will have Yoga stuff to buy.
Tuesday is coming up quickly. I get to go wedding dress shopping!!! I can't wait. Yesterday her and her fiancee went cake shopping. I think they are going to go with carrot cake. I thought that was different. She will have a cake that has ivy going up and circling around the cake. It's vary pretty. They were given the price of $470. Which is pretty good.

Carrot cake is good. I think Monica had it when she and Scott got married. As well as cupcakes.
I have made chili this morning, as well as a butter braid. My DD Annette is coming down today to see her Dad and me.
BTW, Hubert went to the Dr. yesterday to check on his pacemaker. Everything was fine, but he still can't go back to work. They have a 25# limit on him, for up to 10 more weeks.
He is going to call hr on Monday, to see what he can do. He was hoping to go back by the 1st.
I got some new scrapbooking stuff yesterday. I want to clean out the cabinet that I keep my stuff in, and put the new stuff away. Then, if I can, I want to start a new book.

Ouch! Crystal hope you won't be bruised to bad! I am just relaxing today, tomorrow I may try to bowl for the first time since the hip surgery! Dr released me to give the driving the bus a trial run starting Feb 1st.
I think if I walk up to the lane slow and kinda just throw the ball I should be OK. I just can not stup, bend over to low and I think I will know if I am pushing it too much....The Dr told me to quit being in a hurry it's only been 5 weeks he said....I am a mover not a sitter!
The return to work is because I insisted and if it doesn't work I can call him back!
Have a safe weekend and hug someone to stay warm!

I just bought a pair of the Danskins from Walmart this week. My first pair ever! I wear them to work out on the treadmill and love how comfortable they are.
Like my mom said, Scott and I had carrot cake at our wedding also. It is his favorite cake. If they are worried about the cost of the cake and not to picky about it sheet cakes are usually cheaper and they can be decorated also. We used a 1/4 sheet cake and had cupcakes. They decorated it the way we wanted it which was white with white dots on it. We still put a cake topper on top.

WOW! I can not believe that taking 1 cc's out of my band makes such a HUGE difference. I only have 5 cc's in my band after almost 3 years. Since I've gotten the 1 cc taken out, I have not gotten sick and am enjoying food with moderation. Madd and I went to the mall on Fri and I ordered a kids meal from Panda Express and I wasn't able to eat the whole thing, I was very satisfied and I didn't get sick! I even enjoyed a small slice of pizza with the family last night!
I'm going out of town for a week. I leave for FL. tomorrow for work. I'm trying to get the dates of my work in May, because I'm going to try and do the Rockford 1/2 marathon. We will have to play it by ear!

Wow Kim you are doing aw some. I have had some set backs but feel I have it back in control...Glad you can eat and not get sick...I have very little in my band due to a hernia I got in the upper part around the band...due to food getting stuck and I kept trying to let it ride....well had most fluid removed hernia fixed itself... then had so much distress in my life my Dr and I decided to let it stay this way for a while to allow my self to readjust! I am so happy for you and good luck on those dates from work, and the 1/2 marathon! Way to go!

hello all,
Well. I got to ****y! It turned out i had a blood clot in my bowel so I needed a 2nd surgery and have been in ICU since Thursday. I should be out of IUC tomorrow and back home wednesday. I was vomittimg (dry heaves) whcih did not make me feel well at all!
I'm moving slow and a little out off it, so dont make sun of my spelling! I will update when I can!
