Good morning Lisa and the rest of Illinois!

I am working today after a long evening if "drama" concerning the Palyhouse.
My oh my, the "director" is a pain in the arse.  She is rude and disrepectful and I had enough.  I told her to stop that crap and apologize.  She apologized that I took her wrong then told me that she would handle ALL duties.  I took it to the Board, letting them know that I would not put up with disrepect.  Many phone calls and emails later and it looks like a soap opera.  I would tell them all to take a hike, but I am concerned about the children and the future of the program.  I am upset that my "fun time" has turned into such a stressful mess.   I wonder where it will end?

It has started snowing here again.  I am ready for Spring!

Not too much else happening, that is enough, I think!

Glad to hear that Jules is doing so well!  I would not have been able to string a sentence together on the same day of surgery!

Everyone have a lovely, stress-free day!

 Hello everyone!

Moving along here.  I just got the cath taken out and I feel 1000x better.  As I said in an earlier post I have my period too so I just felt so icky.  Got a sponge bath, brushed my hair and teeth and I feel a little more human.

I had the upper GI done this morning.  Appears I still have too much swelling so I threw up the drink.  Good news is that there isn't any leaks, but news is the swelling.  So I will be on ice chips all day today as well.  But I'm not hungry at all.  I little thirsty but not too bad.  I'm also draining a lot including a big blood clot.  They don't seem to be too worried.  I had a slight fever this morning but it's gone now as well.  The pain I have with the left side seemed to improve (after several pushes of the morphine button:) and I did a couple laps around the floor too.  I still get embarrassed if someone asks if I passed gas yet.  I can wash up in front of someone but can't handle the gas question.  Am I a nut case or what!!!!!!

Love my day nurses here.  The night ones will need to grow on me though!

Lisa, I did check on the site earlier and was surprised no one was on yet but I was still to tired to start:)

Hope everyone is having a good and warm day!  It's got to be freezing out there!

Take care,

Jules

Good afternoon friends,

Well, I went to the doctor on Monday and they checked my band under xray.  Wanted to make sure it didn't slip.  Everything looks great.  The PA did take 1 cc's out of  my band and wow, does that make a difference!  I can eat without getting sick!  Now I just have to us my tool the right way and make good choices.  I think I have that down!  I did have to go back today and get a full blood work up.  Which I'm so happy they did!  Since I've had the band, I've had no blood work taken.  I'll fell much better knowing that has been done!

Maddie is home sick today.  She got sick around 5am, but seems to be doing better now.  This is round 2 with her, so I hope we are finished with it!

Dawn, I'm sorry to hear about all the drama.  Maddie has been asking about getting into plays and wondering about auditions.  I guess now is not a good time to ask you about this program!?

Sounds like everyone else is doing okay.  Congrats Jules!  As Chris told me almost 3 years ago.  Put your seat belt on, because you're in for a ride of your life!  (and it's a great ride!)

Have a wonderful day and enjoy the sunshine a little!

Hugs......Kim

I will message you on Facebook.  The program I am talking about is for middle school kids, but I have some pointers for Maddie!
