Saturday Roll Call

Hello everyone

I got home really late last night.  I stayed out late with my friends.  I had a pina colads...gotta love those pina coladas.  My friend that got a new job (the guest of honor) got drunk on margarittas...it was funny.  I'm going to miss her.

I had my doctor appointment and every thing went really well.  My doctor always does fills under fluoro.  So I went in drank the baruim (yuck) and he said everything looked great...my stomach, esophogus, band placement looked perfect.  He and the nurse praised me for all my weight loss since my last visit.  I have lost 45 lbs. since September!!!  He gave me a tiny fill because he said when you lose a lot of weight you lose some restriction because you lose the visceral fat around your organs...including your stomach.  So I got .2 ccs while I was there.  He gave me the thumbs up and told me he wanted to see me in March for my 2 year anniversary...man time flies.  

Oh and Listen up BMI patients.  They added something new to their program...you know the program fee we paid for in the beginning.  Well they added a new item (they upped the fee to cover the expense) but I asked about it.  It's a heart rate monitor.  I have been wanting one of those and I asked him about it.  Well they sold me one for $50.  You know (Dr Lahmann agreed) that exercising within your hear rate zone is very imporant.

Well I am off to take a shower and run some errands.  I have to get my oil changed, I also want to go to the thrift store.  I need some gray pants that fit...mine are wayyyy to big now.

Nothing much happening here today. We are going to a Bluegrass Festival tonight. Its only a few blocks from us, but we will drive because of the temps.

Otherwise, it will be a quiet day here in LaSalle County.

I was going to do a Scentsy party today but it got cancelled.  And wrestling is next weekend, not tomorrow.  So my very busy weekend got a lot more free!  Which is nice since I have a bunch of stuff to do around the house before tuesday.

I found out surgery got moved to 7am tuesday!  I have to be at the hospital at 530am  I'm super excited!  

I guess I'm off to do laundry.  Have a great weekend everyone!

Great luck on having your surgery moved sooner!!!  I was soooo impaitient.  I think the longest week in my life was the week leading up to my surgery.  I know a lot of people get nervouse but I felt nothing but excitement...you sound like I did!!!

Happy Saturday everyone. Crystal, happy to hear that all went well during the doctor appt.

I have been out to JoAnn Fabrics/Crafts already for some basic beads that I need for some necklaces that I am crocheting. I also picked up a frame for a picture of Dave's folks.

Now I just had my lunch and I am ready to get down to business and straighten up the house for tomorrow. 

crocheting neaklaces???  That sounds pretty.  Do they look kind of earthy or hippy-ish...I was thinking my daughter would like those.  Maybe I can learn to make them.  How did you learn to make them...is it hard???  You need to post a picture of those.

They are made with Ladder Trellis yarn which is a discontinued yarn but I have sources to obtain it. I have only made one so far but have 2 that I bought and 2 that my sister gave me. My sister has a girl she works with that knows someone else that makes them. I searched the internet for patterns and they are as easy as "sin" to make. The end product is so soft to wear and goes great with casual clothing like jeans or dockers and a plain tee or shirt. I will get a picture of them later today after I get the next potty room spiffied up.

The last few days my DD has been gettin up around 3 am and saying she is hungry.  Which I know she is not cause she eats supper n a snack.  I posted a message on the board,I hope everyone reads it and can help me if you can,if not you can leave thoughtful commnets and things like that.  Please nothing bad though.
