Good chilly morning/day everyone!

We will be out of the house in an hour or so. In addition to the bulk food run at Whole Foods we are going to stop into Woodfield and do some mall walking before Costco opens.

After getting home from that I have some general house straightening up to do. I would like to get it done on Saturday so I can lounge on Sunday.

Hello everyone

I am relaxing eating eggs and watching Law & Order.  I'm also cozy under my electric blanket.

I didn't get home till 8:30 last night.  It was a long day.  Today I want to go to get an oil change, then to Meijer.  We will see if I get out there.  I tend to just stay in and hibernate in the Winter.  I also need to dye my hair today too...the grays are showing all over the place.

Yesterday I did my groceries and I went to Sports Authority.  I bought my gym bag.  It's a pink Adidas bag!!!  It's exactly what I wanted...even a separate place for your shoes.  I got it for $20 and I got a sweat band for $4!!!  I was also looking at those fancy socks my Amanda bought me for Christmas.  I love those socks...they are so warm and cozy.  But I couldn't bring myself to spend $18 on ONE pair of socks.  I have to thank my daughter again for spoiling me with these wonderful socks.

Oh and more complaining about work.  I found out by accident that there was software installed on our computers that allows our bosses to literally watch what we are doing on our computers while we are doing it.  So my boss can click over on her computer and see what I'm doing on my computer at that exact moment.  I know employers are allowed to do this but I still feel like my privacy is being invaded!!!  I would love to be able to know when my boss is watching me and type "mind your own business!!!"

I hope everyone enjoys their Saturday.  see ya later.

Too bad you cannot install a "block" feature like there is on OH on your PC, that would fix those nosey bosses.

I feel for you about the monitoring as we have it too.  Our supervisors can not only monitor our computers but our phone calls as well!  You eventually get past that and forget that they are there.  I just dont go onlne to OH and we are not allowed on facebook etc while at work.  I do hit the Chicago Tribune and Yahoo but only if my work is done.

My husband works in IT and would think that's a great feature! He took access to Facebook off all computers. He's not a nice person

Down 15 pounds since Monday. I know it's a lot of water weight, but I still feel good about it!

Off to family xmas today in WI. All that yummy food-that I can't eat! I will survive!

Ok, I have to torture myself and get my boys something to eat. Of course they want a breakfast sandwich from Dunkin. I only let them go once a week so I guess today is the day!

Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning to Everyone.

Well, today is my 45Th Anniversary. Our celebration will be put off for a few weeks, due to Hubert being at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Yesterday morning, he walked out of the bedroom, after taking a shower, and collapsed on the kitchen floor. He was out cold. I dialed 911,and before i was off the phone with them, he came to. He was rushed to our local hospital, where he proceeded to blackout again on the table. They were able to revive him, and decided he needed to be to life flighted to Peoria. He received a Pace Maker at 3:00 p.m. and was eating dinner at 5.

Needless to say, it was a both a stressful  day and a grateful day. I am just so thankful that I still have a husband.

He will probably be at the hospital until Monday. They want to monitor his meds. But, he did say this morning that he was feeling fine, and complained about the noises. I am heading to Peoria in  an hour or so, and will stay there most of the day.

Have a safe ad warm day, Kiss your loved ones, they can be taken from you at any time.

Huggers,
LISA

 Lisa,

Sorry to hear about your husband but the good news is that you responded so quickly and got him help.  Happy Anniversary even if it is sitting in Peoria:)  I am thinking good thoughts for your husband.

Hi Lisa.

I am so sorry that your husband became ill. Thank goodness he will be okay. You both are in my prayers.

Thanks to your quick action and response, you and hubby will have many more years together.

You're so right, here one day and gone the next!

Remember to take good care of yourself so you can take care of hubby when he comes home.

Hugs,
Lucy
