Thursday Roll Call

Morning all! I am at work trying to get my "work groove" on and it is not happening today. I have to get roll soon because there is a lot to do.

What is happening with each of you today?  I have support group this evening and that is just about it.

Hello everyone

I am so glad that it's Thursday.  I have no plans tonight...just working out. 

I can't wait till Friday evening.  I will sit and relax when I get home...ahhhhh. 


Nancy- My company used to have "employees of the month"  and our boss never would nominate any of us.  She said she didn't have time.  So no one in Finance would ever get it.  It would have been nice because you would get a $500 gift card..but they don't do it anymore.

Today I am goin up to Springfield this afternoon to see the Social Worker and do a follow up with the NUT!!  That is my day today.

Hello!

I had what I thought was the last of my tests today. The pulmonary guy wants me to wear a wrist thing to bed to monitor my sleep. I have no problems sleeping but he said it's just a precaution. I understand but it better not hold up my date! I would hate to start all over on the meal replacement shakes!

Working from home today and I only have to be in a store tomorrow morning....next week I actually have to "work" all week! I am a trainer, training new franchisee's how to run a Dunkin Donuts. It's fun but I will be up at 3am all next week

At least your employer takes them off the of the road to eat something and bring their BAC down. My employer puts them in cuffs. LOL

 I am so glad that tomorrow is Friday!  I cant wait!  I still feel bad today but went to work anyway.  I should of stayed home.  We will see how I am in the morning.  We are just so busy right now.  

Well, they really did skip over me when they handed out the awards today.  I did not even get a copy of the nomination I submitted.  What really blows my mind is this is a team award for the team.  I am part of the team but I cant get the award.    This just plain sucks.  Why would anyone do any nominations if they get excluded?  I just cant wrap my head around it.  Then, only 1 person thanked me for nominating the team.  No gratitude either.  We deserved that award but I sure will think twice about putting our team in for an award again.  That is a terrible attitude but I just cant believe the company policy.  No wonder companies wonder why morale gets low when they do things like that to their employees and they dont understand why that is a problem.  

Oh well, live and learn.  I am happy for my team members.

Good evening all,
Today was a good day at work.  I can not believe all the questions I am getting about the surgery, the diet, what I can and can not eat etc.  I so hope we find a different discussion soon.  I feel so awkward at times.  I know people are just curious.  Today one person actually apologized for eating her salad infront of me.  I told her, I will soon enought be eating salad so enjoy. 
This afternoon, I stopped at the thrift store.  I had to get some pants that do not fall down.  I spent 9$ on two pair of jeans.  One of them was even Levis.  It has been yrs since I wore true Levis!!
I am off to church choir tonight.  I so miss that release.
