Wednesday Roll Call
Good morning cyber friends,
Today I am going back to work since the surgery. I am also happy to report the scales started moving again!! I am now 50lbs lighter than my heaviest!! That is such a great feeling. I went yesterday to have my hair cut and stopped at the thrift store and I am the proud owner of a pair of jeans size 22. I left work wearing a size 26(a bit tight) and I started this journey a size 30/32 stretch pants. Don't mean to be tooting my own horn, but this is such a new and wonderful feeling for me!!
I have been successful going to the gym the last two days as well. Not only am I going, but my kids are going with me. Slowly, the sedentary habits this family had a yr ago are disappearing!!

Debbie, you can toot your own horn as much as you would like. We all have been in the same boat as you and understand the WOW factor of our surgeries.

The week is half over...I'm already looking forward to the weekend.
Yesterday the gym was busy again. This will sound terrible but I find myself getting annoyed with these people. I hate having to wait for a treadmill or a weight machine...ugh!!! Yesterday this girl from customer service that I don't really know- I didn't even know her name- came up to me and was asking about the gym and she said well I was told to ask you about it because you have lost lots of weight and you go to the gym every day...I was thinking WOW I have a reputation??? I thought that was kind of weird. Well if people are going to talk about me behind my back at least I know it's good...hahaha
Debbie- It's OK to toot your own horn. I toot mine sometimes. When you start seeing results from all your hard work you feel so good about it you just want to shout it from a mountain top.

I need to leave in a few minutes too, but I hate to leave when its still dark out. So, I will warm the car first, and by the time its done, I can leave.
It is hump day, we can see the light (weekend) at the end of the tunnel.
We will be going to Yorkville on Saturday, to celebrate our 45th anniversary with the kids.
Work is horrid again, after a peaceful and slow 3 weeks. It would be nice to see a few smiles from our clients.
Out in the cold I go,

Wonderful for you Debbie..it's those little things that make it all worth while.
Off to work today, we will be short staffed by 1 person. That may not seem like a lot but when there are only 3 in the office 1 person can make the difference.
Afterwork we are finally going to do some Christmas Returns and gift card shopping. Morgan received a lot of Barnes and Nobles gift cards and is wanting to get some new books and then we have a return of a jacket to Kohls. Scott wants to look at a new computer. His crashed about 3 months ago and doesn't like to share mine.

Good morning Christine and the rest of Illinois!
I am just working today then need to stop by the bank to pick up some $$ for Liv to take to U of I Champaign/Urbana. She is attending the "Theaterfest" beginning tomorrow. I am excited for her and wish I would have paid better attention so that I could have also gone. It sounds like a great learning opportunity.
My boys are getting excited for the "Nut Feed" that is being held in Davis on Saturday. It is a yearly community "potluck" where everyone brings something to share. Mostly the hunters bring whatever they have gotten so there are lots of interesting foods, cheeses and homemade wines. The "Nut" part of the feed is deep fried bull testicles! Everyone sits around eating, playing cards and visiting with their neighbrs. I used to attend this event, but not so much since surgery. When they come home, they need to fumigate their clothing because it smells like OIL. I guess I will have a quiet day to myself on Saturday.

Good Evening Everyone!
Another day is over and we are that much closer to the weekend
We were extremely busy today. One of those days where there is not even time for a sip of water between calls and this would be the day I have a sore throat and feel like I am coming down with something. I hope not.
Debbie, congrats on your WOW! Tat is a huge victory!
Crystal, I am proud that you have a new reputation around the office. That will set that busybody back some. 
Lisa, your work is appreciated by others, even if your customers do not smile or thank you. 
I had an interesting situation today. I nominated our team for the monthly team award and we won. Well, here is the kicker ... because I did the nomination for the award, I do not get the award.
It is a team award for working together. Soooo everyone else gets the award and I look like I do not work with my team members. Go figure. 
Only at Office Max could they make up these crazy rules. Everyone else gets recognized but me. I am bummed about it.
