This is one of those "almost", free meals. Use the veggies you have left, no need to go get anything.

3 cups fresh veggies, left over from your relish tray

1 to 2 cups left over cooked veggies (corn, string beans, peas, ect.)

1 cup shredded meat

1/2 to 1 cup barley or small noodles

1 cup shredded cabbage

Place everything in a 6 qt. or larger soup pot.
Cover with broth.  Bring to a boil and simmer until ready to eat.
Serve with Crusty bread, and maybe a small dessert, sugar free of course.

If to thick, add broth until it is the thickness you like.

Thanks for posting. It is one of those simple, almost free meals (like you said) that you can make with leftovers.
