 @ Christine,
Flinstone Complete is the first recommended vitamin.
These are the recommended ones:
 Flintstones complete

One A Day Kids Complete

Centrum Chewable

I am going to the dr's tomorrow and I will certainly look up the suggested site.  I love any help.  I am also going broke finding protein drinks I like!  I guess that is normal.  What I liked pre-surgery is so different from what I like now!
Oh well it is the process.
Thanks
Debbie

Debbie,

What I would do is take a bottle of the kids vitamins and then the adult vitamins side by side in a store and review the RDA. Kids vitamins do not have the full amount of nutrients that an adult needs. You are malabsorbing nutrients in your food and also with your supplements more so now that you are PO. It is important to stay ahead of it because the numbers can crash real fast and it is hard to get them back up. As far as protein drinks try some from GNC. If you do not care for them after you purchase them they will take them back and they will give you a refund. What you are going through with your taste buds is common.

 Good Evening Everyone!

Yeah!  It is Friday for me too.  I am a free woman until next Monday!    After the calls I had to day I am super glad.  I think I had every tough call that was possible and none with easy answers.  I hate those calls!

Now I can relax and do what I want for the next 4 days.  I am looking forward to it.  I had a nice surprise from one of my nieces tonight.  She sent me fresh fruit from Florida for Christmas -- beautiful grapefruit and oranges   YUM!

Debbie, I take regular vitamins.  My doctor said I could take anything post op as long as it was not bigger than an m & m.  Today I can take the horse pills with no problem.  You can split vitamins in half.  It is important to get high quality, vitamins that are developed for adults.  Remember that we do not absorb all that we eat so that makes it even more critical to have good vitamins and children's wont cut it.  Vitamin deficiencies are not pretty.  I just went though a series of infusions for low iron and still am not sure I am back to normal.  Trust me, you dont want to be there.

Everyone have a great day tomorrow!  Dont work too hard
