R. O. D. Captain Krunch Goodness and Mercy
Sorry for the title folks but that is what Dave calls it. It came from his family. It is not diet friendly but is great as a treat to take to a goodie table or to family. Caution everyone as this stuff is addicting, beware RNY people as you might dump on it if you get too much!
4 cups Peanut Butter Flavor Capt Krunch
4 cups Rice Krispies
1 jar dry roasted peanuts (16 or 19 oz jar)
2# almond bark (AKA by some as white chocolate)
Melt bar (Dave uses a large microwave bowl and melts in the micro), mix into the rest of the ingredients and then spoon (eating tablespoon) onto waxed paper, let harden.
Hint what Dave does is put the large stainless steel bowl on an electric warming tray that is about 24" long. This keeps the ingredients soft until you can spoon all of it out onto the waxed paper.
