Wednesday Roll Call
Good morning Karen and the rest of Illinois!
So glad to see that you are doing well after your surgery Karen! It may be a hard recovery, but I know you will work to be better than ever!
I am working today, then home to pick up Liv and her friend to go the the high school theater group. At some point I have to make one more (I hope that's all it is) trip to Wally World for a couple of gifts for the SIL and makings for the cheesy potatoes to take to my in-laws for their Christmas on Saturday.
My boys cut down a lovely tree on Saturday, brought it in on Sunday and last night it fell over twice, spilling water all over. It is now on the front porch! Good thing I have not started decorating it yet! I am not sure if the stand is too small or the boys just did not get it in there correctly. Another thing to get done.
Gotta get back to work now......
Have an excellent day!!!

Good Evening Karen and Illinois friends!
Karen, I am pleased to see you posting! That means you made it through surgery and now are just dealing with the pain. After knee replacements I can relate to it hurting to walk. I dont know how much of a difference your leg lengths are but I was born with one leg an inch longer than the other. You get used to it and do not even realize it is that way. You might want to get an orthotic insert for your shorter leg to protect your back.
Dawn, I hope you can get the tipsy tree straightened. I had a tree one year that kept falling but my cause was 2 cats climbing in it. I solved the problem with some clear fishing line. I tied it around the tree and then anchored it to the wall. Problem solved.
Debbie, Hang in there. You are at the stage of "What the heck did I do to myself?" It too passes but is not fun while it hangs around. Enjoy the weight loss, that makes up for it!
Crystal, I am sorry you get such a hard time at work. You are such a sweet person. I think your coworkers have some serious issues. Trust me, it is not you!
Work was a little slower today so I got to move to my new cube. I am settled in and back at it. I like my new neighbors but will miss some of my old ones.
Not looking forward to more snow!
I swear I am more than ready to move south.
Hope everyone has a great day tomorrow!
