Morning/day IL. Crystal hope you are getting better. Nothing is worse than being sick near the holidays.
I am off into the deep freeze here shortly. I have a meeting at the Judicial Center in Wheaton for a short while this morning. Best things about it is getting out of the office and I get to take a dept. vehicle. Except the unmarked squads are grungy.

Good morning cyber friends,
I am off in a few minutes to the hospital. I am nervous, excited and many more emotions at once. I have everything I need (I hope) to make my staff just that much more comfortable. I received an email this morning from Obesityonline regarding what to expect today and referring to my "angle". Do any of you have an angle? I was on the service looking for one, but nothing yet.
Oh wel.
My hubby has taken the day off and he will be bringing my kids after school. My surgery is scheduled for 8:30 so I am hoping to be all done by noon.
Crystal, hope you are feeling better. Take care.
Well, all I will write more when I get home on Friday. The nurses told me not to bring my laptop.

Hello everyone
My throat hurts more than ever...OUCH!!! I took a Vicodin again and this time it didn't help with the pain. It did help me sleep, so I slept even the though my throat is on fire. My ear hurts, my head hurts, and my nose is all stuffed up too. I haven't had a voice in two days. This always happens to me, when I get sick, I get really sick.
I have to get off my butt and take a shower. I haven't taken a shower in 2 days....YUCK.

Good Luck Debbie: You will not need our laptop...you will want to rest alot while in the hospital.
Crystal, hope you get feeling bettter soon. I went to the Doc yest for an ear ach and all they said was to take claritin for it because my ear is filled with fluid only..no infections.
My day has already starte with lots of stress. I don't know why the whole dropping off Morgan at school is so difficult. They need a traffic manager for that parking lot. It is crazy there.
Not much on the agenda today but work. Then coming home to help Morgan with her room and hopefully to make some chocolate covered pretzels.

Mornin all u ILs!!! I hope you are all stayin warm.
Can you all please pray for my Aunt down in TX(she is in her 60s) and in serious condition. Last nite they took her from their local HP to she is out of surgery we are not 100 % positive but they might have took her leg off. She is also in partial kidney failure.
We have a WIC appt today. I found out have to wait until next month to go back to Springfield do to the follow up with the NUT n the Social worker(cause I live 2 1/2 hrs away and I try to do 2 or 3 appts in one day). And the NUT had to cancel my appt for the 14th of this month but I called to see if I can get both the Nut n Social worker on the same day again but the lady said not until next Month. On the 15th I will have my 3rd month of 6 months of supervised visits with my PCP too

Good Evening Everyone!
I am finally getting on here tonight. What a day! I overslept and was late for work by an hour.
So much for alarm clocks. My back was hurting and I put it on a heating pad for a few minutes and promptly fell back to sleep.
Work was busy again and then the last couple of hours my computer started rebelling and doing its own thing. It totally quit on my twice and after calling support I found out that the product I was trying to order causes the computer to freeze. Nice --- NOT! Could they tell us that? Noooooo I asked tech support if he wanted to hear me scream in stereo ( over both the phone and in the building) but for some reason he did not.
And that was just one of the issues I was having.
I finally get off work and head to a dental appointment and discover that I have a dry socket in a tooth that was pulled last week. Sigh. I thought it was hurting a lot. But my back hurt worse so I just ignored it.
Crystal, I hope you feel better soon. Anne I hope your surgery went well today. Monica, I understand your frustration as a parent with school traffic. I live a block from an elementary school and our neighborhood has been screaming at the city council, the police and the school for over 5 years and they still cannot come up with a decent plan where people do not block our driveways or prevent us from leaving home.
It is horrible.
