Monday Roll Call
Hello everyone
It is freakin' freezing out there. Ekkkkk!!! I hate winter. Not that I love 95 degree weather but if I had to choose I will take Summer.
Ok so my throat still feels weird and my ear is clogged. My throat is what is bothering me the most it hasn't gotten worse but it's not better either. So I decided to take a look at my throat and I can't believe what I saw. Now granted I don't make it a habit to stare at my throat but something looks wrong. On right side of my throat I have a very swollen balloon like thing, that looks discolored (yellowish). What the heck is that??? I know, I know call my doctor. I hate calling my doctor. I am taking Zicam...maybe that might work...maybe. Right now I feel fine. I might start feeling tired and run down later but I feel fine. I am probably contagious, so I will stay away from everyone till I am better.
Oh well what a start to the week. Have a great day. I probably won't

Man, it's cold. This is a weird thing: With the extreme cold, I can actually feel my scars from my plastics ache when I get too cold. I am almost 6 months out, so I worry that that weird sensation will not go away. I am seeing my PS next week so I will ask him my bizarro question. He is used to those by now!

Morning all! I was so tired last night that I did not even hear the phone ring when my sister called as I was dead asleep. I have a phone right next to my side of the bed even.
Speaking of my sister she, her grandkids and kids are all coming over tonight for chili and chickie soup dinner. She is up here to Christmas shop for her grandkids. So that is what I am doing this evening after work.
Crystal hope you feel better soon. I cannot believe how much colds and flu is going on already this season.

Good morning everyone
I hope you all are staying warm,cause it is like 20 here in south central part of the state. I have been up since 7:30 am,I got dishes done and the kitchen cleaned up a little. Now me and my daughter are watching Handy Manny. I think we are goin to run up to Effingham later to Martin's IGA to get some more groceries. I can't wait until this Friday we get to go pick up her Christmas pics.

I hope you all are staying warm,cause it is like 20 here in south central part of the state. I have been up since 7:30 am,I got dishes done and the kitchen cleaned up a little. 9 degrees here, up from the 5 when I came in.
Yes, Crystal, a call to the doc is in order. I am STILL fighting this cold and it is now winning. The weekend was pretty bad, but I was (very) marginally better this morning. I also have a UTI, so I have to call the doctor also. Problem is, my doctor left the practice and I am not sure WHO to call.
Besides the nasty cold, Todd had a pretty nice birthday weekend. His name was not drawn, but the pot rolled over, so by next week, it may be close to $ 10,000. Maybe next week.
That's about it for me today.

Hello fellow Illinois friends! Not much going on here in Peoria but {{COLD}} {{{BURR}}}. Went to drive bus this morning and was told a friend and coworker had a heart attack yesterday...They said she hasn't any blockage,enzymes do show she had a heart attack! Maybe a blood clot moved they say....she was shopping with her mom and sister when she felt it coming on so she drove herself to the hospital! She is so lucky nothing worse accrued from her driving while having chest pains...I have one more room to get all cleaned before my surgery, I so can not wait till its done and the pain is gone...This time next year maybe my weight loss will be a few steps closer to goal...I will be able to move more! This I am so looking forward to!

I get to look forward to a MRI on Friday. A week or so ago, I found a hard lump in my arm.
i went for an Ultra Sound last Friday, and I called for the results this morning. They want an MRI done, so thats on the agenda for Friday.
Tomorrow evening we are heading for Bloomington to listen to our DGD Holiday Choral Concert. She is in the Show choir as well as Chorus. I am hping to get out of work a bit early tomorrow, so we can get an earlier start. Plus, I want to stop and look for a new pair of dress pants and a holiday sweater to wear to a dinner next week.

I have to agree, it is COLD out there! I am so thankful for my remote starter on my car. It is so nice to not get into an ice cube every time I go out.
It sounds like the board all needs to report to sick bay or at least the majority of people. Crystal, if you haven't called your doctor, do so! Dawn, I hope you are feeling better soon. Do you have a Walgreens or WalMart that have a quick care medical center in it. We just had one open in our WalMart and the price for a visit sure beats a doctor's visit. Lisa, I hope nothing serious is found on your arm. Sending positive vibes your way. Chris, I hope you are not as tired today. Enjoy your sister's visit. Karen, I am so sorry about your friend. It is shocking when something like that happens. Nicole, I think that scars can ache during weather changes so that can be normal. I sounds like a nerve is maybe still healing. Vicki, you are so busy with your daughter, enjoy her!
For me, the weekend went quickly. Friday night I got my new toy in the mail -- an Ipad. I love it! I used my birthday money to get it. I had to convince myself to spend that kind of money but it is worth it! Today was extremely busy. No chance to take a breath all day long. My new supervisor started today as well so I will probably be moved this week. Thats about it with me.
