Saturday Roll Call
That white stuff has covered everything again.
I finally gave away all my pants that are too large for me. That is except for the one's I still have to wear. I hope to get the next two or three sizes down later this month. Cheryl is tired of seeing me swim inside my slacks. I am just at the point where a 2x shirt fits nice except around the navel where my hernias push out when I sit down and pop open a button.
I need to go back to bed now but I always find it hard to do when God is doing any major weather changes I love to watch the process.
It is great to be alive and continuing to get healthier. I know my hernias will need surgery as well but think that will not be until next fall.

I love the snow fall, the first one of the season any way, after that I do not want any more. It's beautiful, till its played in or starts to melt then the mud yuck! So I will enjoy it while I can.I am joining Golds Gym, right now there is only a 25.00 enrollment fee and then the payment start the first of the year...As soon as the Dr says I can start walking as much as I want and can drive I am going to kick my own butt to get the rest of the weight off! This is my goal for 2011!
Going to stay home today and get the last room in my house finished cleaning so then it should stay fairly clean till I can do it again in late January!

Yeah!!! for the gym membership. Remember to do some weight training. A lot women don't lift weights but it's very important. Not only does it help build your metabolism but it's also good for your bones. It helps build bone density which is good for women to help fight osteoporosis. Start out small and slowly build. Then after your cardio and weight training make sure you stretch. Not only does it help with flexibility, it also good to avoid injury. Can you tell I have really been reading up on the subject...hahahaha I'm done preaching.
It's always nice when it snows and I DON'T have to drive in it. I hate driving 20 miles to work in the snow going 3 mph and have to worry about sliding off the road at any minute.
Today I am going out later. The movie Eclipse is out and I HAVE to buy it. I can't wait.
Yesterday was the Christmas walk in downtown Oswego. I know it sounds like great fun...except when you have live smack dab in the middle of it. I of course forgot about it and came home late. I had a bunch of bags to carry up to my apartment. I had to hunt down a police officer to move the barricades and let me through so I can park by my apartment. It is such a pain in my butt. Then when I got home I had to throw out some garbage. I went to the dumpster (our dumpster is in the alley) and I got questioned by another police officer about why I was "lurking" in the alley and "dumping" garbage in dumpsters, which is illegal. When I told him I lived here and was not loitering, he asked for ID. I told him it's in my apartment. He didn't like that...I mean how many people carry their ID to throw out garbage. Which is what I told him and he yelled at me for getting "belligerent"!!!! long story short I got hassled in what is basically my back yard and I resent it and it makes me really mad!!!!

Ahhh, the beautiful while fluffy snow. I love the snow and watching my kids and dogs play in it. AS of today, I am 5 days out from surgery. I have not stepped on any scale to see what my weight is yet, but I am pleased with what I am hearing. People at work have been very complementary and I am loving it.
Today is planning the meals for when I am at the hospital and for when I come back. My hubby is capable of cooking but he gets home so late. So, it is up to my kids to cook.
I also need to do the basic laundry and house work and the rest of work preperations. Busy weekend!!

First snow of the season is always great. Especially when it falls on a day I don't have to work .
I have already made a batch of molassas cookies, and have another batch of cookie dough in the frig. Want to do at least 2 batches of chocolate chip today to.

We got ambushed last night! Santa is buried under 7 inches of snow and wont come out. I went out and tried to see if he would inflate and the answer was no and I promptly fell on my tush. So no unburying of Santa. Hopefully one of the two people who said they would do snow removal for me will show up. I have talked to both in the last 12 hours and so far no show.
It is pretty outside. I have been inside doing shopping for Christmas. Found some great gifts. They are all earmarked, and now I just have to decide which I will get.
I enjoyed sleeping in this morning and even dreamed that Office Max bought each employee a new car! It was so funny. They were all bright orange, little cars and everyone had trouble figuring out which was their car in the parking lot because they were identical.
But no one was griping because everyone was excited to have a new car. Too bad it was only a dream. No special plans for the weekend. I do have to venture out tomorrow to grocery shop and I need to pay bills but other than that no plans.
Crystal, I would be ticked to be hassled by the police for taking out my garbage. What a bunch of crock!
