Hello everyone

Well I found my glove...all is well in the world...hahaha.  Just in time too.  It's so freaking cold out there.  Brrrrr.

I have to tell you the most unbelievable news.  My best friend and her co workers won the lottery.  They didn't win the BIG lottery.  They didn't win millions they won $500,000!!!  Can you believe it.  I never knew anyone that won that kind of money.  We figure after taxes and splitting it, she will still walk away with at least $35,000!!!  Oh I would be happy with 35K.  I would pay off my car and give my daughter a nice wedding.  I still can't believe it.  If you are a glass is half full kind of person-  they were only one number off from winning $40 million dollars!!!

At least we are half way to the weekend.  I think I will do what I need on Friday and stay in for the weekend.

Christine- have fun in Wisconsin.

Hope you all have a great day.  Bye

Yippee for your best friend!!  I run the lottery game play for my office fun when it gets near the 100 million mark.  This gives me hope to go on!  Congrats to her.  How exciting!

Good afternoon Christine and the rest of Illinois!

Have a great time in Cedarburg, Chris & Dave!  I have been there, but not for all the really great stuff I hear they have.  We just stayed overnight with the marching band once to watch a competition.  Todd and I will go there some time.

Yeah Crystal!!!!!  the glove and the friends!  I would be ECSTATIC with $35,000.  At least I could get a decent car and pay off some other bills.  How cool!!!!

I spent all morning at my 4 year surgery appointment.  They offer a "Shared Medical Appointment" for patients over 1 year out.  It was interesting, but I am still trying to decide if I would do it again.  It was more like a support group meeting, in my opinion.  I guess no one had any "medical" concerns (besides the gas issue, which was promptly covered by telling everyone to use probiotics).  We just discussed different eating strategies and such.  I DID come away with a renewed sense of how to eat and behave, but again, I would get that at support group and at a regular appointment.

I had planned to participate in "Pay it Forward Day" by paying the toll for a couple of cars behind me, but when I got to the toll booth, a piece of my car had been kind of flying around, distracting me, (at the deer crash spot) and I fogot.  Now, I will have to stop and pay for someone's coffee or something on the way home.

I hope everyone is doing well.....anyone hear anything from Lisa?

Have a great evening!

 Good Afternoon Everyone

Boy it is cold out there!  I finally had to stop my winter protest and get out a coat yesterday.  I just did not winter to come.  Between a remote start on my car and a heavy sweater I actually made it to Nov 30th without a coat.

I made up for it this afternoon as I froze my body putting up one of those inflatable things up outside.  A 5 minute job took me a good 45 minutes.  Did not help falling on my butt in the middle of it.

The pain clinic told me what I thought I would here yesterday that I need surgery on my back.  Today with the weather change, I am ready for it as it is hurting a lot and not very stable.

I went to the dentist today and had a tooth pulled.  I was glad to get it out.  It had broken off down to the gum line and was really hurting.

I am thankful that it is hump day.  Hope everyone has had a good day and have a  happy Friday eve!
