Tuesday Roll Call
I am really feeling the stress now. I have month end tomorrow and I have a million things to do before my daughter comes Wednesday night. I am more stressed about work.
My friend at work requested to be moved out of the department so she doesn't have to run into the guy that harassed her. The HR department jumped on this ASAP. She now sits way far away from me and she is no longer my employee. I hope this makes things more comfortable for her but, I don't think she will be happy where she's at now. Not to blow my own horn but I'm a great boss. I give people the benefit of the doubt, I don't talk down to people or yell at them and I make my environment fun. Where she is at now is not like that at all. Oh well it's out of my hands.
My workouts are going great. I can tell a big difference in my flexibility. I can touch my knees with my head now. I'm no longer as sore as I was...knock on wood!!! I'm up to 3 miles now. I also have added more weight with my strength training.
I can't wait till the end of the day tomorrow...not only will I have a break from this place for 4 days but my Amanda will be visiting!!! Can't wait!!!
What's going on with you guys???
Have a wonderful Tuesday.
Good Morning.
Crystal, have a great time with Amanda.
Karen, good luck with your upcoming surgery.
Not much happening here today. Just going to work shortly. I found out yesterday that my Ottawa office is moving. Not happy at all. Where we are we have room for 45 to 60 clients on a daily basis, the "new place" has no room and a few other offices in it. They want to condense services to one place so everything is handy. The really bad thing is it is way out of the way for everyone. :(
Have a good day, only 2 days til we all make pigs out of ourselves, and then try to jusify it by saying its only once a year. The average Thanksgiving feast is over 1200 calories.
Be safe.
Hugs, LISA
I am sorry to hear that your co-worker was moved, but what other choice does she have? Just another day and a hlaf and you will get to visit with your daughter!
I am working and freezing at the same time. We were not anywhere near the tornado, but Kim M. lives in that area. She posted on Facebook that they are OK. We have many friends in the area of the tornado, but all are OK. Power was out at Todd's work at 3 and had not come back on when he left at 4. Rock City was missed entirely. Just a little rain.
We attend Thanksgiving at my MIL's and all I have to do is make the "Killer Caramel Brownies". I never ate them before and they would definately kill me now! The family loves them, so I am making a double batch.
Everyone stay safe and warm and have a spectacular day!
We went into a really neat organic food co-op that you would have loved, Crystal. There was very little foods/products that we not organic. A couple of things I noted was in the bulk area like the Quinoa and a few others. The fruits, veggies, meats and cheeses looked great. Sometimes the veggies and fruits leave a lot to be desired.
