Friday Roll Call
We have been up in the Dells area since about 730 this morning. Been here walking in the bitter wind. We drove and purchased a few things at Farm and Fleet and a Hallmark store in Reedsburg and then just drove and enjoyed the scenery in the area that we have come to know and love.

Whoa, you're logging serious time exercising. As a newbie, I need advice. What do you do with your mind when you're exercising? Watch TV, listen to music, listen to a book on tape, etc? I'm such a scardy-cat that I'm going to be bored out of my mind when I get to the heathclub (targeted for January, w/ the rest of the New Years resolution herd)! :) Seriously. How do you avoid boredom? Thanks!
Well I had trouble exercising at home because of boredom. I am a lucky girl for two reasons. First my work has a fitness center free for all employees (it's pretty nice and almost no one uses it). Next I'm lucky because I have workout buddies. I work out with 4 other people. So we are either talking or joking while we work out or the treadmills have TVs and I watch TV. I still don't really like the treadmill but I love the weight training and stretching.
Also, I suggest you start small. If you make it too hard you will give up. I started at 30 minutes on the treadmill and slowly added 5 minutes every other week. Do the same thing with the speed and incline. I am hoping to be able to run a mile one day.
