I need aslot of help....PLEASE
Hi Everyone...I need supporters right now. I had the lapband 11/5/2007 and after 7 months I had to have it removed. I have gained all my weight back. The surgeon told me the only other surgery I am eligilble for is gastric sleeve and I have medicare & blue cross & blue shield and no one will cover it. I have been seeing a phycologist all this time & he told me I need to get back on this board for help.
I am so ashamed of myself for giving in to this disease & if there is anyone out there than can help me please do

I am so sorry to hear of your struggles. I can't make your insurance cover you, but I CAN tell you to FIGHT for what you need. Just because they SAY they won't......FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT. Check out the insurance forum here on OH. There are many people there that might be able to give you tips on how to get covered. Go to another surgeon for a second opinion. Different surgeon's are comfortable with different levels.....
Please try to keep your chin up, I am sure that SOMEone can help!
