Monday Roll Call
Hello everyone
Well my Monday is off to a great start. I came in and the building management is testing the fire alarms. They have been going off since 6am. I have stuffed kleenex in my ears but it's still very loud. Ughhhh....It's always something.
I have no plans today except for work and workingout...of course those two things don't leave much time for anything else.
I am not looking forward to the winter at all.
Well I better get going. What's going on with you guys today. Have a great day.

Good Morning Crystal and Illinois!
Oh Crystal, I feel for you. I was in Walmart one day when their alarms went off and boy were those loud! And they could not get them shut off. I know what you mean when you say the kleenex is not working. Hopefully the testing stops soon.
I had a good weekend. The Ozarks were beautiful and the hotel 4 seasons very nice and relaxing. I had a great score in shopping before I went. I went to the new Lane Bryant outlet by me and bought 3 pairs of slacks a sweater and an evening dress for $100 dollars. I was really surprised as the prices on the tags were the original prices so I had no idea what I was going to pay. Good deals!
Now it is back to the world of work. I do have an appointment on Thursday with the pain clinic for the second series on my lower back. I am not holding much hope for this working as I am in terrible pain. The only relief I got was from the numbing agent. Sigh. I dont want surgery.

To be honest, I am not exactly sure what all is involved. I was talking to my neighbor the other day and I know they go in and remove the herniated disks, add metal spacers to keep the spine from collapsing and also open up the spinal canal so that there is more room. My concerns are A. One slip in the surgery and you are paralyzed. B. Recovery is a minimum or 4 months and most likely at least 6 months. C. The success rate is only 60% and MOST surgeries do not solve the pain problem.
So you still have to deal with the pain afterwards. So why have surgery? But I have also been told that waiting too long can paralyze you as well so this is a darned if you do and darned if you dont situation. I really feel a need to go to Chicago to Rush Hospital where they have the top ranked Orthopedic surgeons in this procedure. That creates complications of distance, getting to and from surgery and back for follow up appointments and a whole lot of other issues. Fun, fun, fun NOT!

Fast fly by for me. I am up to my eye balls in alligators with paperwork on my desk. We had a traffic enforcement on Friday and I have a lot to do before I leave for the day.
Have a doc appt. after work, an errand to run near Woodfield and then home to make dinner. I have become quite the little cook with finding recipes on the internet to make things from what I have in the house.
Later 'gators
ps - fire alarm testing = ouchie with piercing sounds for the ears, hate it also.

Good Morning!
Off work today and tomorrow but am loaded up with errands and all those things to do that I never have time for.
Got the living room painted -now just need to touch up the spots on the ceiling and repait the trim work. We picked out a color for the trim but don't like it very well. So it is going to be repainted - AGAIN!
Have a pot-luck to go to tonight. My daughter belongs to a girls group called Rainbow. This is their Thanksgiving meal.
Before that just finished paying bills and then off to Walmart and Aldi.
Nancy-where is the LB outlet at?
Have a great day!

Good morning IL family!
Went to walmart yesterday. I bought a new jacket because mine was way too big. All the cold air was going through the jacket. I got one for $40.00. It's a black pea coat jacket - double buttons. It looks so cute and makes me look tiny in it. Love that!
I'm up to 40 minutes on the elliptical this week. YAY!! Weight loss is moving again. I am so close to getting out of the 200's and this time I am going to stay out of there.
Today is just work, then some errands on the way home.
Time to warm up everyone!

Last week was very busy with evening classes in business planning, having my car looked over on Friday and spending Saturday evening with Christine and Dave. Volunteer Computer Connections Saturday morning. TAMU beat Baylor. Church on Sunday morning. Bears beat the Vikings.
All wonderful blessings and so much activity I really had to make today a stay at home work day.
Y'all behave but if you cain't then be sure and have fun.
