Well I hope you are feeling better now.  I heard and saw for myself that recovery for RNY surgery is a bit more difficult than LapBand.  I was fine after a couple oddays as far as pain goes.  And I would have completely fine after 3-4 days except I had some issues with dehydration and low blood pressure.  But every  heals at different rates and everyone pain threshold is different.  If you aren't feeling right take it easy and relax...don't pu****  You will be up and feeling great in no time at all.

Hi Lisa,

So sorry you aren't feeling well and have a hassle at home.  Remember, as everyone has said...take care of YOU first.  Your famly (and house ) will survive.  Do what you need to be doing to feel good.  I have been drinking hte Lipton decaf iced tea since my surgery.  I have an iced tea maker and itea is one of my main hydration staples.  It does taste better than water!

Take care of yourself!
