Sunday Roll Call

Good Morning to All.

No major plans for today. Just finsh the laundry and put it away.

I will be woeking on a denim quilt today. At least trying to get all the peices  cut.I also want to get some stuff put away in the shed that is still out in the yard.

I hope everyone was able to dodge the rain yesterday. I yhink we are suppose to get more I think.

Hi Lisa.

I'm going out to lunch with my family today. It's my sister's 34th wedding anniversary. Can't believe the years went by so quickly.

Not much going on with me. Still trucking along. Next Monday, I have an appointment to see Dr. Guske. He is definitely my Dr. McDreamy!

I'm looking forward to my trip to Houston with Val, aka Willow for the OH Conference. It's a week and a half away.

Good luck working on your quilt today. And, congrats on your 3 year surgianniversary. You've come a long way.

Rain is ok with me. We need it!

Going to a cookout at my husbands coworker home. Deer Chili is on the menu. Not so sure about that but will give it a try. Need to get some laundry done also.

Good morning Illinois!

It's cloudy right now but not raining..yet...I did 4 loads of laundry yesterday. Still need to make a quick run for a few groceries.
Today I need to finish birthday shopping for 2 grands so then I can concentrate on getting the rest of my Christmas shopping done. I love not having to fight the crowds.

I agree with you Carol. My Christmas shopping is 90% done. The only gift I really need to get yet is for Hubert. No ideas on that yet.

I need to be sure I have my WV family done early...and once I start them...I'm in a race to finish.
I have quite a few gifts already bought...just went over my list again yesterday. I will be done before Thanksgiving. What's nice is that with the shopping out of the way you get a chance to have a less hectic holiday. Stress free is what I'm looking forward to again.

Hello everyone

Today I have nothing going on in the morning.  So I am watching Law & Order and reading the newspaper.  My laundry from yesterday should be dry so I will be folding my clothes and putting them away.  This afternoon I am going to my best friend's daughter's birthday.  She is 18 today. 

Speaking of my best friend, she is the one that had to have her band removed.  I am sorry to say she isn't doing very well now.  She has gained about 100 pounds back.  I feel so bad.  When I have some kind of victory like losing weight or working out...I tell her about it, but I always feel guilty because things are going bad for her.  Keep telling her to look into other options like RNY or VSG.  I don't know why she doesn't look into other surgeries but she hasn't yet.

Just got the breakfast dishes washed. Now I will get dressed and go to Sam's & Wally World for a few things. Lisa, like you I am going to get some laundry done and I have fabric for an apron that needs to be cut out.

I am taking Olivia into Rockford to work at the museum this afternoon.  Not sure what all I will do while there.  I may go visit my daughter and granddaughter.  I may go to a movie....just not sure yet.

I made chili last night and use beef bratwurst meat instead of ground beef.  It turned out very good.  The boys like it.  They always add lots more spice to it, but I keep it mild for myself and Olivia.

It is raining here, but we definately need it, so I am not complaining.
