Saturday Roll Call

Morning everyone! We had such a great time at the wedding last night. My neice looked like a Greek goddess.

Unfortunately we are to get some rain this weekend but on the other side of the coin we are so dry and the earth needs it.

I have some grocery shopping to do today and then I need to straighten up the house. What is going on in your world today?

Hello everyone

Well I ended up going to the movies last night after my workout.  We went to see RED,  It was really good.  I liked it a lot.  Bruce Willis is still pretty hot.  But I have to tell you working out then sitting for 2 hours= some sore stiff muscles...ouch.  I'm fine now but I was walking funny for a bit after the movie. 

I have good news.  I didn't have to go into work today...yeah!!!  So I am sitting here relaxing watching Gilmore Girls (reminds me of Amanda and me) and eating breakfast.  I have bunches of laundry to do.  I'm not sure what I will do for the rest of the day. 

Christine- I'm glad you enjoyed youre nieces wedding.  Thanks for the advice yesterday.  It made sense to me.  I really hope that's all it is and I will start losing weight again.

Good morning Illinois!

As we traveled to Toledo, Ohio and then to West Virginia I kept noticing the beautiful fall colors on the trees. Some of the reds were just so bright and did I say beautiful. The only sad note is that it will start to get colder with each passing week. Guess it is time to start getting the winter wear ready.

Had a wonderful time with my grandsons and of course my son and daughter in law. Ian is doing great in kindergarten and had to show me how he is learning to read by reading me a story book. I must say he did very well! Tyler is the real redneck in their family...he loves dirt bikes and 4 wheelers just like the big guys.

Took us a longer time to get home than usual but I still made it home in time to pick up Bella from the vets.

To all those recovering from recent surgeries and illnesses...you have been in my prayers.

Not much on the agenda today....probably laundry and a visit to the grocery store.

A nice rainy Saturday. We really need the rain. So, other then the inconvenience of dodging the rain, it is still Saturday, and things to do.

I have dinner under control and the table set to celebrate our DD Annette's birthday tonight. We will be going to Monicas next Saturday, for Annettes party.

Otherwise, no plans for this weekend.

Christine, I am glad you had a good time last night.

Crystal, I am sure you will find plenty to do today.
