Look what I found! Recipes!
Look what I just found! I haven't explored TOO much, and I can go with or without the "organic" substitutions, but this looks like a KEEPER!

It shows regular recipes and healthier alternative ways to make the same recipe.
VERY COOL!!!!!

From looks of the picture it looks fantastic.
I like a few other sites for getting recipes and they are:
www.cooks.com & www.allrecipes.com I sometimes will look for a certain recipe and then will print a few and will combine the info and make "my own" version. I did that with a search for an egg breakfast bake with loose sausage.
America's Test Kitchen is good also. I have their ten year cook book with all the recipes from all 10 years of the show. http://www.americastestkitchen.com/ you do have to create a login and then you can search the recipes. They do have a feature where you need to pay for some of the recipes but I have enough with just the free ones.
Another place for good recipes is American Profile Magaine. It is in some Sunday newspapers. We get it from the Dells paper subscription that we have. http://www.americanprofile.com/recipes/

Oh yeah....I also use www.food.com & www.eatingwell.com to name but 2. I do the same thing! I look up a few to get ideas, then adjust for what's in the kitchen.
I thought this one was good because it shows very clearly how to do healthy substitutions for some "not so healthy" recipes. I think it is a great "jumping off" point. Like I said, I don't know if I would follow it to the letter (I can't really afford lots of organic things) but it gives great ideas on how to make things in a healthier manner.

Dawn, I don't use organics either. It is just another word for expensive. Plus, alot of the time the stuff doesn't look as good as the genetic stuff.
