Friday Roll Call

Now that I have that out of my system I can get on with the roll call. I am taking a 1/2 day off today because we have to be in Naperville by 5.
Dave is still laid up with the knee. The swelling is going down but not real fast. He can get around a little better and does not need as much of the pain meds. He is thinking that there might be internal damage.
What is going on in your part of IL?

Hello everyone
Yeah it's Friday!!! I'm happy even if I have to work tomorrow.
I have been working out every day this week. I come home feeling a little sore but when I wake up in the morning I'm fine. So I think that's sounds good. I am pushing myself but not too hard that I'm sore the next day. Although, I still hate working out when I'm doing it I can't wait to get done. But afterward I feel great accomplishment and my legs feel like rubber.
Now what I want to know is that before I started to work out like this I was losing weight. Now after my first full week of working out I don't lose anything!!! Why would that happen??? You would think that I would continue to lose weight now that I added more cardio and started weight training. I'm feeling frustrated again...
Nancy- I am so sorry about your back. it sounds terrible. I am hoping that it won't be as bad as they think...doctors and MRIs have been wrong before. Regardless, I will be sending you lots of good vibes.
Christine- Your poor husband. That sounds awful. I really am glad he is feeling some improvement and I hope there will be no long term affects.
Lisa- Congrats on your 3 year anniversary. Keep up the good fight.
Well I hope everyone has a wonderful day. See ya

Crystal, keep up the great work with the exercise. What might be happening with the no loss this week is that your body sees that you are expending calories with the exercise and it might be hoarding some of the calories that you are eating because it thinks that you are starving it. It will balance out eventually. And yes it can be very frustrating.

Good Morning,
Christine, I am thinking of Dave, and hoping he doesn't have any internal damage to his leg.
Nancy, Keep thinking positive. Have you been to a pain clinic yet? You might try one.
Crystal, keep up the great work. It will reward you with a beautiful body.
I am in the process of being a Merry Maid this morning. Then off for some errands when Hubert gets home. Maybe another walk at the park. Then, out for dinner with friends.
Nothing for the rest of the weekend except having our daugher andfriend for dinner tomorrow night. Think it will be steak. Munchies will be mixed nuts and good olives.
Have a great day, Stay safe.
Huggers,
LISA

Good morning Christine and the rest of Illinois!
Glad to hear that Dave is doing a bit better, but sorry to hear that it is not moving along as fast as he'd like. Hoping things keep getting better. It sounds terrible.
Crystal, you are doing great! Keep it up, YOU are the boss....not your body. I know how frustrating it can be, believe me! Just keep at it and eventually your body will respond.
I am working today then not sure WHAT. I am having problems with David (in addition to everything else) and need to figure out positive solutions. Wish me luck!
Everyone have a spectacular day!
