Getting closer

After completing my insurance-required 6 month supervised diet, during which I gained 6 pounds, psych counseling,upper GI, sleep study, EKG, blood tests, monthly doctor visits ....I finally met with the surgeon today!!!!!!  But alas, no surgery  date scheduled.  Surgeon has to check with assistant.  Hoping for late October or early November.  I am keeping everything crossed I possibly can......hope springs eternal

 Congrats on getting through all the pre op requirements!  That is the hard part.  Don't feel like you are alone in gaining on the preop diet.  There are many others including me!    That is why the surgery.  Diets don't work.
