Hello everyone
I am so tired. I was sleeping so snug in my bed. I had the window cracked open a bit and I was under my blankets....Ahhhhh. I didn't want to wake up. That is usually when I wish to win the lottery or have a rich husband so I don't have to work. As much as I wi**** never comes true!!!
Before I left this morning I plugged in my crock pot. When I get home I will have some yummy beef stew waiting for me. I am trying to eat homemade food and stop eating prepackaged or frozen food. Eating food from scratch is healthier for you. Not as much chemicals and preservatives and less sodium...well none in my food. It's really easy to always make frozen dinners when you live alone but I need to stop this.
As Lisa said it's chilly out there wear a sweater. I have on one of my new sweaters I bought (because everything is too big) it's always fun to wear new clothes.
Have a great Monday...yuck!!!

Good Morning All!
Liz insists on having windows open all over the house, so I woke up with ice on my nose! Well maybe I'm stretching it a bit, but I too, didn't want to get out from under the covers. We spent yesterday at the Brookfield zoo, so I feel like I got a good workout. We actually became members so we can go back all year long. I've decided I want my own condor, but the cage would take up the whole back yard! I actually ate fairly healthy (a bison burger, no fries or soda!), and had a lot of energy. Today is a day of picking up the raw milk, playing music with my musician partner and then a massage client this evening.
Enjoy the crisp weather!
Paul
I used to be interested in raw milk but all the links I chased down through Mercola's site would not return my calls.
Sounds like you have an active day ahead of you. I am sorry you lost your tool but am glad that it gave you some results while you had it and hope it has given you a mental change that keeps the weight at bay.

Hi Randy!
I use to get my milk from one of Mercola's contacts out of Michigan, but every now and then, he would get shut down for crossing state lines. With a small child, that made it very hard to be cosistent. I now get my milk from a great farmer in Glen Ellyn, IL. You bring your own bottles and he charges $8 a gallon. The milk is from gurnsey cows so it is slightly richer than that of jersey cows. The best part is that it is all within Illinois law, so they never try to shut him down. If you are interested, let me know and I can get you his number.

Good morning Lisa and IL friends!
Yes, it's been mighty chilly. I even got cold and had to put on the heat. I think I will be going through the same chilliness this winter as I did in 2005-06 when I lost my weight with the RNY.
Today is another busy day at work. Got a meeting in an hour and one this afternoon.
I'm up to 10 minutes on my elliptical and a daily long walk in the neighborhood.
Eating my breakfast now - scrambled egg with bacon, 1 radish and some avocado. Yummy. I love my DS.
Have a great day everyone.

Good afternoon Lisa and the rest of Illinois!
Seems like long time/no see for me.
The concert was AWESOME!!!! We had so much fun, on the drive, being silly ****il trafic hit....).
Once we got there, I went right in to use the restroom and the family went down the street to grab a bite to eat. I went WAY UP to the VERY TOP of the arena to find our seats. When I got up there, the employees of the United Center were offerring an upgrade to the $ 250.00 seats, right beside "The Wall" and about 50 feet from the stage---first section off the floor! After much debate, we decided to take them and WOW!!!!! it was SO cool! David will talk about this for the rest of his life. We all will, but he was MOST IMPRESSED! We did not get home to Rock City until about 2 am, so I slept in on Friday to almost 9:30!!!!!
The boys went to Air Camp for the weekend which left Liv and I home to our own devices. She had social engagements so I cleaned my bedroom closet and room.
After 5.5 hours, I had the closet cleaned out and had taken out 12 (cheap) garbage bags full of mostly clothes. 3 bags of garbage followed. My room was not THAT messy, I just decided to get rid of everything that I don't need or want. Now, I am wondering.........do you think I would have a chance of selling it by the bag? Maybe on Craig's List or something, like a "grab bag" at $ 10.00 per? We could use some extra cash, but the season is not right for a sale and a sale takes so much MORE work. I also have some nicer things (suit coats/formal dresses) that I was thinking of trying to get $ 10-$15 each. Where would I advertise such things?????
Anyway, that was my weekend and I am back to work today. Been very busy. Tonight is the big Bear/Packer Party in Rock City. We have it in the backyards---my neighbor is a Packer Fan and we are Bears fans. We get the TV outside, light a fire and do pot luck. I have a Kraft Mac 'n' Cheese Houseparty and my neighbor has the "Taste of Thai" Houseparty that we are going to do at the same time. This is all AFTER my meeting at the Playhouse........fun, fun fun!!!!!
Good to see that Lucy is doing well and Paul's on the mend. It seems that the half dose may be the trick for Crystal.....I hope so!
I wish everyone a great evening and GO BEARS!!!!!
