Sunday Roll Call
just getting my eyes open and trying to decide if I should stay home or go out for a me day. The Sandwich Flea Market is today. It would be nice to get out and get some fresh air. Now do I ask my husband if he wants to go with or go by myself and treat myself to a day in the fresh air and no housework.
My husband does not like to go to flea markets or antique consignment shops but if I gave him the choice being that exercise is involved he would come with and just go do his own thing. I am going to guess that Fay's is not there during the flea markets? YUMMO! My DH and I share a meal when we go to the yearly fair.

It's been a busy week for me with going back to work and working on my new lifestyle as a DS'er.
I got my "J" tube out on Thursday. It was painless. Dr. Guske was great. He removed the stitches from one of my "JP drain" sites. I did the other about a week ago. Those stitches get itchy and stuck to anything. So I am free as a bird now. YAY!! He is pleased with my weight loss. I've lost 22 pounds since my surgery.
Eating has been a pleasure. The only thing I miss is the fruits and breads. Later on in my DS life, I can have some but not an everyday thing. I have to watch the carbs. But I love being able to have salad dressings, cheese, butter, and cream. I am a great protein eater too. I'll be able to try my first steak soon. I haven't had one for 2 years since my band.
I've got to update my information on this site.
Today, will be visting relatives day. This will be my first full week at work. THere is so much to do since I was away.
THen, on Saturday I will be flying to Orlando for a work conference. Staying at a resort hotel that has a grand outdoor pool with a waterfall. I will be able to go in the water. YAY!!
WIshing Nancy a Very, Happy Birthday!

Lucy

It was great to meet Juanita and Cat, and nice to see Christine and Dave again at the "Walk from Obesity". It was a nice day for a walk. I hope more people will walk next year.
A year ago I was on the liquid diet, waiting for Oct 6th. I'm thankful everyday, I truly didn't realize how bad I felt.
Not much happening here today.
Wishing everyone a great day.
Hello everyone
I am on my second dose of my medicine and still no problems. Maybe this will actually work. I also slept better last night. Today, I am still taking it easy today. Right now I'm watching Wallstreet. I never watched it before.
My band is still pretty tight. I had steak yestreday and I just couldn't eat more than a few bites.
