Thursday Roll Call
Good Morning Everybody!
It's been a while since I was the first one to post! I hope everybody had a nice night and is sleeping in. Yesterday was an easy day of staying at home, playing some music and then doing some coaching in the evening. I decided to treat Meredith and I to a lunch out so we went for a hot dog (her)and a gyros (me). It is amazing how something so tasty could feel like such a brick in my stomach! But I lived through it and was glad to have the treat. I feel that a treat every once in a while is a good thing if it is done in moderation. Today I am back to my shakes and healthy eating. Amazingly, the scale was down a half a pound this morning! Today is a busy day. Meredith gets to see her Aunt for a visit while I go to Skokie for an appointment. Then it's back home and then to our farm coop to pick up our weekly veggies. Then back in time to get Nic to soccer practice followed by more coaching phone calls!

Good Morning Paul and the rest of OH,
It does sound like a busy day for you Paul, but busy is good.
As for me today, I am going to study, study, study for my certification test that is on Saturday. My shadowing went very well and they really made it sound like they were going to talk to HR and put in an offer for me. If I can pass my test on Saturday that's a $2 an hour difference in pay. Since this job is only part time, any extra can help!
I also have school tonight and it's my late night because I have lab. We'll be checking out more bacteria and things...woohoo...lol
Other than that, nothing going on here. Enjoying our new guinea pigs that we got last night from our neighbor. Midnight and Storm, though they look exactly alike so it's not like we can tell them apart yet. Hopefully their personalities will make it easier. they are 4 weeks old tomorrow.

Today is good so far. Makayla has a sinus infection. So the dr gave her some medication for it. So we kept her home again cause she was up all nite coughing too. Next Wednesday is my 1st month of my 6 months supervised visits with my reg dr. Then on Oct 5th will be my 1st visit for the center with the social worker.

I am working half a day today, meeting Amber for su****hen meeting the boys to head into Chicago for the Roger Waters show. We are all very excited! Reveiws have been very good.
We will be looking for somewhere close to the United Center for cheap eats before the show, so if anyone has any suggestions, send 'em over!
That's about as exciting as I can be today!

Good Morning Il and Happy first day of Autumn!
I was doing the jury duty thing this week, and only had to go for about and hour for 2 days and yesterday when I called, we are done! That was the easiest and least time I've had to serve.
I am having a party at my house for some people I used to work with. I ususally have it in Dec, but we decided to try a fall get together. There should be around 25 or so people there. Everyone brings something to eat so should be a lot of fun. Getting my house ready and getting some food and supplies in.
My computer at work had a virus and it was "fixed" but had a horrible time yesterday with payroll. Had to reenter a lot of info and it took a lot of time. HOpefully we are ready to go now!
Dawn, I hate to admit, I don't know who Roger Waters is, but I, too, have heard good reports about his concert on WGN radio. I'll have to do a search on him. Have fun!
Paul, sounds like you are busy. Monica, good luck with your test/cert and how are those wisdom teeth doing (now that they are gone?)

Looks like today is probably going to be the last really warm day for a while. I love the sun but I like it at around 74 degrees.
Anxious for Wednesday to get here. Consultation with Dr. Cant wait to find out exactly what will need to be completed before hand. Still doing my research on VSG vs RNY. Because I have alot of weight to lose, RNY may be the one for me, but I will wait to make that decision until after the Dr.'s appointment on the 29th.
I hope everyone has a great day. Get outside and enjoy the sun while you can.

Yes, I sort of did sleep in today - to 615 that is and that is late for me. We have been to two appointments for Dave, to two food stores for minor things and to the Hallmark store. As long as I took today off for Dave I scheduled an eye appointment for me as it is time to get more contacts plus my close up vision is getting worse. Later on today the Kelly Brothers Circus is in town. We watched them put up a couple of the tents while we stopped in at the park district for something else.

2nd day in a row I overslep. That means until 6 or 6:15. I do not like to have to rush in the mornings.
I have to work again tomorrow. Only have one more 5 day week to go, then its back to my beloved 4 day weeks.
After work I did go to the store so I don't have to waste anytime SaturdAY to do the weekely shopping. Then on my way to work tomorrow, I will stop and pick up the dry cleaning. Another thing I won't have to do Saturday.
no big plans for tonight. Just dinner and laundry.
