Good morning/day all!
Home again, home again jigity jig. We will be on our way in a few hours. We did not get to see the Balloon Glow last night because they canceled due to weather, darn. Oh well. We decided to go back a different way through Dubuque and Galena instead of Highway 30.

Good Morning.
It is Monday, time to plan out your day, or week.Other then work this week, and a couple of dinners out, no plans at all.
We had a nice visit at our daughter Annette's yesterday. We could of had a bit warmer and sunnier day, but it was nice.
I am shortly off to work, today I work in the dungeon. Small interior office. I can only see the sky if I am in the main room.

First day back to work and it is going to be a long day. I will leave about 8 in the morning and then not get back home til at least 8:30 tonight. After I get off work I have an advisory board meeting for Rainbow Girls then the regular meeting. Trying to figure out my food for the day. Thought I knew what I was going to do but turns out I am clueless. May just go get some chili from Wendys today!

Have a safe trip, Christine. I spent a long weekend in Galena a while back. Nice area and loved the downtown to wander around.

I am on Jury Duty this week. Woo Hoo! LOL. I report today at 12:30, so that gives me a chance to get some things done at work.
Monica, I may have missed it...what kind of work do you do?
Attended a beautiful wedding on Saturday and the reception was at (I think it was called) Crystal Tree Country Club in Orland Park. All I can say is WOW! LOL. Got to see and visit with lots of friends. Chloe was with me, too, and she was exhausted when we headed home around 10:45 pm. She fell instantly asleep! I couldn't I was driving!!
I see in the Sunday roll call you were mentioning flu shots. If you are able, be sure to get one. They have the clinics set up everywhere and for the protection, they are cheap. I lined up a fellow who comes into our workplace and gives them and I think that is scheduled for mid-October. Remember the H1N1 is in this years flu vaccine, so you don't have to get a separate one. (**This is a public service announcement!)
Anyway, not much else going on. Saturday I'm having a cook out at my house for a group of people who I used to work with. In the past I have had the get together in December at my house, but we decided last year to try it in Sept and maybe get better weather. I think I have about 25 people attending! Have to get all lined up after work each night this week.
Crystal, here's hoping you get your meds worked out in the near future. This can't be fun!

Not much going on today. Tonight I have my support meeting in Chicago.
I've got appointments this week, my ortho doc on Wednesday and my surgeon on Thursday. Thursday I have to go back to work. I feel like I could have used at least another week off.
I'm really hoping my J-tube is removed on Thursday. It's pulling so much.
I'm resting now after a morning walk, elliptical exercise and washing my hair.

I am at work and things are running a little slow this morning. That is good because the brain is slow as well.
Not much on the schedule today. I plan to run my doctor down for the test results for the additional tests I did Friday. I also plan to go to bed early tonight. At least I hope I make it. I have got to quit being such a late owl.
Monica, it sounds like you have a HUGE day for your first day back at work. Try not to get over tired.
Lisa, I would hate to work in a cubby hole --- oh wait, I work in a cube.
