Saturday Roll Call

Good evening to all the IL peeps from IA Hawkeye land. We have had a great time so far despite the weather. It has been fun for Dave to reconnect with his classmates. We took a tour of his old HS and there was a lot of "remember this and that" stuff going on. It took over 2 hours. Prior to the tour was a town parade down the main street for close to 1 1/2 hrs.

Tomorrow is an afternoon tea at the local historical museum with a tour, info on how to use herbs especially ones grown back in the late 1800's. Then there is a "balloon glow" where they tether hot air balloons, blown up and you see the glow of the flame. This is done at dark. Then home on Monday afternoon.

Sorry to hear about the personal loses. Good to hear about meds and docs that seem better. I experienced my first restaurant meal while on my 10-day pre-op diet. I did OK.
