Can't believe I'm first, but here goes!

I am working today, then need to get home to get Liv to her game.  This week, the cheerleaders do a "Mini-Cheer Camp" and they have 70 little girls!!!!  They spend some time during the week teaching the little girls a dance and some cheers for the big game tonight.  How fun!

David's hair appointment and pictures are all set for tomorrow.  Then, we are hoping to go up to Monroe for "Cheese Days".  Sunday, I think we have to go dress shopping some more for a homecoming dress for Liv.

Not much else......

Hello everyone

I have a doctor's appointment today.  It's a long story but I am going for a second opinion.  I called my doctor and told him what happened with the Topamax and prescribed Adderall.  Well I was talking to my friends and they seemed concerned with this medicine.  Now I'm freaked out by taking it.  After what happened with the Topamax I'm afraid.  I feel silly because I never had these fears before but my friends said there's nothing wrong with getting a second opinion.  So here I am going to a doctor appointment.  I'm afraid that I will seem like a hypochondriac.

Then I am going to groceries.  Don't worry I won't over do it.  Like I said to my friend I have to get out and start getting active so I will be ready for Monday.  So every day I have some errands planned.   

Oh and after all of this my band has seemed extra tight.  I guess every little thing effects my band.  I'm not complaining believe me.  I could use a little more restriction.

hi. I'm sorry, i'm fairly new (again) to the boards, so I'm not exactly sure why your taking these meds...but never feel bad for having a second opinion. Adderall can have its own yukky side effects and can lead to nausea, walking around like your zoned out, and have dizzyspells! So becareful and most def. get a second opinion!

It's always good to see new faces on the board.  I was taking these for migraines.  I decided not to take the Adderall and I went to see a new doctor and I will be taking a very low dose of Depakote.  I really liked this doctor too.  He took the time to talk to me about my fears and even talked to me about my struggles to lose weight.  Then low and behold he pulls out an article he wrote about metabolism.  I will be switching over to him.  He treated me, my migraines, my weight issues and even decided to send me for an ultra sound because he thinks my thyroid is enlarged...no doctor ever told me that.  All I can say is I really, really like him.

(just moved this into it's correct position) I don't mean to freak you out, but what does your doc say about the weight-gain side effect of Depakote for you? My child takes it. How might your Band change that common side effect? --- Hope your health stabilizes soon. That kind of roller coaster is no fun!

Crystal, please be careful with the Adderall. My daughter took that for her add/adhd she lost almost 10% of her body weight when she took it and was like a little zombie. At the time she only weighed 80 lbs and got down to 70. We switched her meds and now is doing alot better.

Going to try and get out into the garden today and do some weeding. My roses have gotten out of control

Happy Friday!  Quick stop for me today!  I'm going up to the hospital to see Steph,her bone scan came back negative which is excellent news.  I  have a meeting this afternoon, and a Wildtree Tasting Party tonight.  Tomorrow 2 soccer games and a baseball game, than another Wildtree Tasting Party.  I'm so thankful that I'm holding more parties, the job market is  ruff out there.

Heading into another busy weekend.  Crystal, don't feel bad getting a second opinion. and of course you are "gun shy" after such a bad reaction!  You are right, slowly work your strength up this weekend to get back to work on Monday.

Not much happening here.  Deanna, glad to hear the bone scan was clear.  THat has to be a relief for you and your friend/family.

As I've mentioned, wedding tomorrow up around Orland.  Chloe is coming and will go with.  Should be a lot of fun.  I haven't been to a wedding in quite awhile!
