SAME DR...

Was wondering  is any one has had the Lap Band with Dr Christopher Joyce At  Silver Cross Hospital and what was you experience with the process.. need the input was wanting him to do my wls.....


See him on 29th of september very nervous..

There are a few that have had surgery with Dr. Joyce at Silver Cross.

I too, had lapband surgery in Nov 2009 with Dr. Joyce.  Both he and his office staff know all the ins and outs and are very supportive.  He is very calming, answers any questions and is an extremely well-qualified surgeon.  I especially liked it that when he spoke at the info seminar he mentioned that he is one of the people who train other doctors on how to place the lapband.  That was a very encouraging stat for me!  Welcome to the Illinois board.  Carol (above) was so helpful to me when I was doing my research and asking questions.  If I can answer any questions, feel free to PM me.  Best of luck.  Don't be nervous about your appointment.  Take your time and write all your questions down so you'll remember to ask him what you want.  He'll answer all of them for you!
