Monday Roll Call
Man, the flu and cold season is upon us so soon. Well, that is what comes with kids being all together in one place - it goes around real fast. The 7th grader across the street from us has been out of school with cold more days (4) compared to last year when she was only out the whole year - 4 days.

Morning everyone in IL!!! I found a couple of brothers that me and my best friend used to hang out with back when we were like 13 y/o. We all 4 chatted until like 3 am this morning and still chattin with them this morning. I told them that hopefully around next spring or summer we can all get together(cause hopefully by then I will have had my surgery) and I will have a smokin hot body. LOL!! But I found out the older brother liked me back then and he still likes such sucks cause I am not single though. But I love my man though!!! If that makes any sense to you all
It is so fun connecting with people from your past, isn't it? Dave will find out this weekend as we are going to his 45th HS reunion this weekend. I was the one that wanted to go and I do not even know these people, LOL. I said it could be fun. Hopefully because it is so far out there will not be any of the "one upping" that goes on at a reunion.

Good Morning IL OH family!
Well I survived my wisdom teeth surgery on Saturday. It went very well and while I hardly have any swelling at all, I am quite sore today. I am hoping this is the peak of pain and it will start to get better. I can barely open my mouth at all because of jaw pain, which he said is very normal and the entire area under my jaw/chin is super sore. So is my throat. however, even as much pain as I am in from this, it's nothing compared to what it was like before the surgery! Yay! They gave me Vicodin for the pain and also something called Dexamethason to help keep the swelling at bay. It's a pretty powerful steriod, but I only need it for a few days.
So, pretty much nothing on the adgenda for me today. I am dizzy and light headed and I think it's either from not enough food or the meds...I'm hoping it will go away after I take a nap in a bit.
I may also be taking Tyler to the ER later after school. He hurt his right shoulder/arm and wrist at the football game Saturday morning, but he wanted the trainers at school to look at it today first and see what they recommend. I think he needs an xray personally. We shall see.
Well I hope everyone has a great day today, enjoy the sunshine!

Good morning Chris and the rest of Illinois!
I am working today with blue fingers and thumb on my right hand. Seems like the gloves had a hole in them. Oh well, it goes good with the black and brown on my leg. The yellow and red already came off of my feet! The party was fun and lots of stuff got dyed (besides me). I did my bathroom rug and 3 towles to go together. I can't wait to get home and rinse them out to see how they turned out. That is the fun of tie dying.....you never know WHAT you'll get until it's over. We will be taking pictures once everything is rinsed and hung.
It was SO nice of Lisa and Monica to stop by on Saturday---great to see them and Monica is doing very well. Janet and Jim were also over for a while.
I am enjoying working while the boss is away fishing. We always get a lot more done in a less stressful environment.
Everyone have a splendid day!

Morning ladies. Nothing exciting going on today. I've got cleaning to do. Gotta change the toilet seat (woo hoo!) and get the Legos off the floor, do the dishes and what-not. My boys are such slobs but what else should I expect for 11-year-olds. lol One of them is home from school today with a sore throat and such.
Anyhow, I did my morning walk and pushed myself to go 4 laps which is equivalent to a mile, plus the walk there and back which is about half a mile. Yay me! It's not much, but it's something.
I'm patiently awaiting my appointment with the nutritionist and psychiatrist on the 20th. I'm starting to get excited!
I better get some laundry in the machine but I'll check in later.
Take care,
Keziah
