I am up early today. I think i am excited to be going to Madison today with Monica.

We got the estimate for our yardwork yesterday. It wasn;t anywhere near where we thought it would be,so DH decided to have it done by the professionals. They should have it done by Oct. 1.

Otherwise, all is good, have a great day and be safe.

I am going to the gym this morning to try a bootcamp class...hope it's a good workout. DH has a coumadin check this morning....don't know what the plans are for later.

I tried getting on here yesterday and for some reason OH would not let me onto the message board....oh well, I'm here today.

I have been up and at 'em early like Lisa but have not done anything but be a couch potato. Shortly here after breakfast I will be putting my "maid's" uniform on and cleaning the main floor of the house. Later on tonight we will go back to the Oktoberfest here in town and meet up with some of my co-workers.

Dawn, sure hope that the weather is good for your tie dye party today. As I hope that it clears up a little later for my event. There is a huge tent to get out of the elements.

Hello everyone

Well I had a really long day yesterday that I feel I am still recovering from.  I was up at 4:30am.  I worked from 6-to 5:30 and then I went to visit my dad and stayed till midnight, then went to Walmart to pick up groceries.  I got home it was about 1:15am...I was tired.  I hadn't eaten either and literally got light headed from not eating.  So I was eating a White Castle burger at 1am.  I know not the best choice but it was 1am and everything was closed.

Today I am relaxing an possibly going to a party in Chicago. 

This is sweet- my dad wants to treat my sister and I to a manicure and pedicure.  He such a sweet guy.  He is doing better.  I found out yesterday that his blood infection was soooo bad that he was one step a way from being septic!!!  That's not good.  He still is having a problem with his blood pressure dropping to low (yesterday it dropped to 70 over 52!!!).  I'm not sure when he will be released from the hospital but it was a week yesterday he was admitted to the hospital.  We are seriously thinking he needs to be in an assisted living place.  My sister and I just can't do everything.

Good morning fellow IL people!!!

We have 3 apts schedule for the bariatric center we need.  Oct 5th is the social worker,Oct 20th is the dietitian and Nov 8th is 2 nutritional classes and PT.  And hoping to start our 6 months of supervised visits this month too. Today me,my fiance and our daughter along with other family member of his family are goin to an anniversary party(surprised) for his brother and sister in law.  

September 11 2001. A day to remember and a date never to be forgotten. Here`s to the Firefighters, Paramedics & the Police Officers, who died on that day.

Good Morning Everyone,

Well, I'm almost there.  4 more days till surgery.  The full liquid diet has become easier for sure.  After about the 3 day mark it got better.  It's almost refreshing not to have to be eating the crap I was eating before.

 Good Afternoon Everyone!

I am super lazy today.  I was wide awake last night and then I could not wake up this morning.  My bed felt too good.  I kept falling back asleep.  I guess I was really tired.  Now I am up and ready to go and probably wont want to go to bed early tonight.  

No special plans for the weekend.  Just the usual chores.  It will be interesting to hear what my doctor says next week.  I did some research last night and there was no reason I could not have had those tests yesterday.  For some reason this doctor plain does not want to do them.  I informed him I was not paying for yesterday's visit.  I have NEVER had a specialist that I have been referred to refuse to do the tests that were the reason for the referral.  GRRRR!  I wont ever be going back to him.  

Crystal, I am glad your dad is doing so much better!  Maybe you can get the doctor to order the assisted living.  That would take it out of you and your sisters hands.  Talk to him in private.  

Lisa and Monica, I hope you have fun in Madison today.

Dawn, I hope your tie dye party is a success.  Wish I could be there.  

Chris, enjoy the Octoberfest -- sounds like fun!  

For our newer people, it sounds like your journeys are off to a great start.  Rachel,  just a few more days!  I was so excited at this point!  It is an amazing ride!  Good luck!
