Walk From Obesity Sept 25th

On September 25th is the local Walk From Obesity event. It is going to be held at the Oak Brook Park District this year.

Walk Location:
Oak Brook Park District
1450 Forest Gate Road
Oak Brook, IL 60523

Dave and I are walking with the team from my doctor's (Dr R) office. Team name is "Loosing with Barbie". We would love to have any join the event with our team or you can start your own team or just come as a single or with friends or family. You do not have to be a patient of my doctor's practice to be on the team. PJ Stough formerly of the Kane Center is the event coordinator again this year. PJ now is on staff with Dr R.

Here is the link to the information for the preregistration. There is a $25 sign up fee and less for children that want to participate. Hi Christine,

I'm also a patient of Dr. Rosens! I wont be at this walk because i had made a former commitment to my best friend to raise money and walk at the Light the Night Leukemia/Lymphoma society on the same date as the walk for obesity. Her aunt died from leukemia so i do the walk every year.

Anyway, very nice to see another patient from Dr. Rosens office here. I think its great that youre doing what you can to recruit more people for the Walk from Obesity. Props to you!!

There are a few other patients on the board - Christina P, who just moved away to NC and Karen. There are a couple others but I have not seen them in several months. One of the ladies tho was at support group this last week.
