Good Morning Illinois!

It will be a great day today, since it is the last day of the work week for most of us.

I have already put in one load of wash, and have started on the first cup of coffee. After spilling my travel mug that was full yesterday morning, I don't want a repeat of that today.Plus, it made a mess on my office floor and desk at work.

I have an agenda for today. I want to change a bed, straighten up the house, go on errands and get groceries. We will see how much actually gets done.

Have a safe day,

Huggers,
LISA

Good morning everyone,

Lisa, it sounds like you have a lot to do today, try to take some time to enjoy this weather too!

As for me, I have a busy day too, gonna meet 2 friends for breakfast this morning, then back home to do homework that's due on Saturday night and Monday night (both of my online classes) I have to finish them both today since my wisdom teeth come out tomorrow and I am sure I won't feel like doing it over the weekend!   then I have to go and feed the football players again before their game at Naperville Central tonight.  hoping it won't be as cold as last weeks game!

Well have a great day everyone!!

Monica

Monica, just chiming in here.

Hope your wisdom teeth removal isn't too bad and you get some much needed rest afterwards.

Congrats on the speech the other day.

Monica, I found that my upper wisdom teeth were a piece of cake to come out compaired to the bottoms because they were wedged in the jaw bone and had to be cut out. Be aware of the symptoms of dry socket. Dave had that with his when he got them out and was in pain for weeks and weeks.

the dentist said that the bottom ones are going to be drilled into pieces to be taken out in hopes of not ruining the porcelin crowns that are on the teeth right in front of them.  They are not impacted into the bone at all either, so I am really hoping this will be easy...but we all know how well I handle easy stuff right?  If there's gonna be problems....who do they happen to???  LOL
What are the symptoms of dry socket?  Does not sound like something I want!

It is when the small blood clot that forms over the gum tissue comes off and then the bone is exposed to air, food and fluids. It happens to 5% of tooth extractions.

here is a copy and paste of a web site explaining it. http://www.dentalgentlecare.com/dry_socket.htm just copy and paste this into your browers to read it.

Hello everyone

I'm at work.  We are celebrating a birthday today...so lots of temptations around.  After work I will be visiting my dad and then doing groceries.

Tomorrow we shall see.  I was invited to a party in Chicago but I have to see how my dad is doing.

Yesterday I started a new migraine medicine.  This one you take every day.  My friend takes this and she hasn't gotten a migraine in two years.  That would be nice.

Well I better get going.  Have a great day everyone.

Hi Crystal.

Hope your dad is getting better. Migraines are awful. It would be great if this new med takes care of it for you.

Have a great day.

Good morning everyone!!  I am up cause my daughter(3 y/o) thought it was time to get up too.  I am hoping today or tomorrow I get my new patient application in the mail so I can get it filled out and sent back in asap,so I can schedule my 1st month of my 6 month of supervised visit for my insurance.  Then we got our first visit with the dietitian Oct 20th,we are waiting a call from the psychical therapist office about that appt; then we have 2 nutrional classes Nov 8th,I am hoping we can get 2 more appts that day too cause our classes are earlier in the morning.  We are hoping to get to get more of the appt done we need before winter hits(cause we live about 2 hrs from the center).

Good morning Lisa and IL friends.

Lisa - I'm with you today. Did a little grocery shopping and took the garbage out. Now I am having breakfast # 1 - 1 egg with shredded cheddar cheese scrambled in butter.
breakfast # 2 - will be the same.
I scrambled 2 eggs and making it into 2 breakfast meals because of my small stomach.

Took my first shower today since surgery day. It felt so good.

Made my bed and straightened up a bit.

Tomorrow my sister is coming for a visit. I haven't seen her in 3 weeks.

Have a wonderful day everyone!
