Thursday Roll Call
Hello everyone
Just one more day left and then it'a three day weekend!!! I have looking forward to this for a month. It's the little things in life that make me happy.
I have no big Labor Day weekend plans. I will visit with friends. It's always kind of nice just hanging out at home. I'm kind of a home-body anyway.
I'm still looking for a job. I know this will take awhile. Just the fact I'm actually doing something about it is great. I have been talking about this for a long time. My boss nit picks about little stupid details and it drives me nuts. Little details that don't mean anything. Like- having me put parenthesis around the area code for a phone number. I mean really who cares...but she does, she sent my spreadsheet back to me just for that. Oh well hopefully by the end of the year I will be off to greener pastures,
Have a great Thursday. Back to work for me now
I too am excited for the weekend!. The weather is going to be cooler and more my style. I don't have any special plans either other than doing something with a good friend sometime over the weekend. We haven't decided what yet.
Yesterday was a day of disappointments for me. I went to the dentist and forgot to take my antibiotics so I could not get my teeth cleaned. This is something I just cant remember. I have to take 2 antibiotics 1 hour before a dental procedure due to my knee replacements. How taking an antibiotic that close to the procedure and only once helps, leaves me clueless. But they wont touch you if you haven't take the meds.
My doctor visit was inconclusive. More tests scheduled. What fun! Plus the exam left me with a horrible backache. I can't win.
It looks like we are in for lots of rain today so take your umbrella. Have a great day and stay dry!

things have changed so much over the years. My dentist has me take meds for two days prior to my appt. Once I get past the 1 year of a surgery, I don't have to take the meds but I pretty much had to do it for 4 years straight between foot surgeries etc.. Now I hope I'm done for a long time. I don't want to be cut on anymore. Unless someone gives me a free boob job or plastic surgery.. then I'll run to the front of the line. LOL

Nancy, I used to take antibotic before dental appts also but my dentist has told me I don't need to anymore because there has been research showing that it did not change anything. I used to take 4 amoxocillans (Spelling?) before my appts.
Have to go by my work to pick up a new key to the door. My boss quit after receiving another job offer. My medical leaves for him have worked out. 2 years ago when I was off for 8 weeks he got a divorce. This time off for 4 weeks and he gets a new job. There is only 3 people in my office. I have asked the other girl if she wants to make a life changing event in her life and I could always extend my medical leave to help her out.
Just a few errands to run today---in the rain! Oh well, not sure about your neck of the woods but down here in Bloomington we really need the rain.
Have a great day.
Crystal-I wish you luck in find your dream job.
Nancy- The reason why you need to premedicate before a dental cleaning, is because cleanings can temporarily elevate the bacteria level in your bloodstream, which could compromise the health of bone where artificial joints are anchored. When your dental office calls to remind you of your appointment do they remind you to premed? You might want to put a note on your calendar or whatever you use to remind yourself to premed. I know it's very frustration but it truly is for your own good.
Carol-Hope you have a great day.
Monica-You sound wonderful.
Lucy- Your doing awesome.
Monica G-hope your mouth is feeling better, and your out of pain soon.
Christina-Wishing you the best with your move.
Paul- Congrats to Liz! What a way to stay on track for yourself, while helping others to change their lives.

Today I'm making a Carrot cake for my Wildtree tasting party tomorrow night. I have been working out at Curve's for the last week. I can't believe the summer is over. I have enjoyed this summer so much. I have done things I haven't been able to do for years. Many AHA moments. Last weekend I was carrying stuff up and down the stairs, my knee was hurting so much, I thought to myself how did I handle the extra 114 pounds for years. I went to Great America this summer with my nephew and was able to ride the rides with him. I truly didn't realize I felt so bad.
Wishing everyone a Great Day, Stay Dry!
Crystal, I'm sure you'll find a job that you will like. It just will take time.
Me, no plans for the weekend. LOL...
Nancy, sorry to hear that you didn't get anything resolved yesterday. That sucks!
Monica, lucky girl if you can extend your medical leave.
I'm somewhat nauseated this morning. Having a cup of tea. My right drain is hardly draining. I might call the doc to see if that is ok or does it need to be irrigated. My left drain drains a lot still. So I am a bit concerned. My tummy feels a bit swollen too.
I want to come home!

Have a great day.
