I'm glad to see you are up and about Lucy! I believe that people heal from the spirit out and getting back into the game is the way to go (within reason).
we did the final weigh in last night in the weight loss class that I taught in Cary. Liz came in second place with a 17 pound loss. The first place winner lost 11 pounds, but the competition is based on total percentage lost, and the winner was a much smaller person to begin with. It was only a 1% difference between her and Liz. Liz did a great job, and she intends on keeping up the program as we go through the next program (starts in a week and a half).
I'm suppose to start a program in the Lake Bluff Park District tonight, but as of yesterday, there weren't any enrolled participants. We weren't in the catalog so they did a flyer and email campaign, but it doesn't look like it was enough. I'm a little disappointed, but we will still go forward in January.
If anybody wants to do a program in there house, and can get 6 people together, I would love to do it. The cost is only $35 per person for the whole 12 week course, and $25 of that goes into the pot as prize money. Just let me know if there is an interest and we can talk.
My day is just chores and shopping. If by some miracle people enrole in the Lake Bluff class, I'll do that tonight. But otherwise I'll probably go to the gym.

Lucy, look at you, going out shopping, posting on the internet, taking walks. I think you are doing great! May I ask what type of place you are staying at? You mentioned grocery shopping so you must have some type of kitchenette facilities. Hopefully it is not too expensive. That is a long time to be in San Francisco.
I have the day off today. I have a dentist and a doctor appointment today. The dentist is just my 6 month cleaning and hopefully that is all. The doctor's is to try and figure out why these stupid legs want to just give out sometimes. I hope we can get that one figured out.
Crystal, Amanda might like some Christmas gifts for the kitty. Items such as cat furniture, beds, etc are more expensive and something you dont usually buy for yourself.
Paul, your classes sound so successful! Just wish they were closer.
Christina, good luck packing. That is never fun. When I moved up here from central Illinois, I danced with joy when I found out my moving allowance was enough to include the movers to pack me up!
Of course, unpacking was really interesting. I could tell some funny stories.
Last night I came home to my yard being almost finished. Now I just have to figure out what to plant in my flower beds. It looks so nice now! It has been a long time since it looked that nice. It has been expensive but worth it to me.
Monica G, I hope you get some rest today and that you are soon painfree. It it is not one spot in the body, it is another. Ouch! Also fingers crossed for the vet job.

I am staying at the Radisson in Brisbane - close to the airport. They have a microwave and small refrigerator in each room. Cost isn't too bad since I am not staying in local San Fran. Those prices were too expensive for me.
It's nice and quiet here too. The hotel was just perfect for us. There's an indoor pool and whirlpool and a place to sit outside and get some sun. We may get some sun later on today.
Good luck at both appointments today. I am not much of a gardener though. Yours sounds nice.

I bet you guys thought you would never hear from me again??? How is everyone doing? What wonderful new about Lucy! Good luck girl! You are always on my mind! Things are okay here. Very busy and still losing weight! I started my journey at 210 and just got on the scale tonight at 145. I would love to lose another 10 pounds. Then maybe a TT! I think of everyone all the time! I've been fighting allergies like crazy, so I'm going to bed. I have to go into the office for a little while tomorrow. Hope all is well with everyone and I hope to get on here more often. Take care
