Good Morning Chris and the rest of my OH family,
I hear ya about being up but not at 'em yet! lol Didn't fall asleep again til 2am. I don't know how people with insomnia do this, it's not easy.
I have an interview today at 11:30 at a Vet's office in St Charles. I am not gonna get my hopes up though because I just seem to get shot down. I really need to find something soon though, we aren't gonna make it much longer like we are right now.
Other than that, I have homework to do and Microbiology lecture tonight, hope I don't fall asleep! LOL

Hello everyone
Well I found a couple more places to submit my resume to. Nancy was talking a couple of days ago about being in a rut and needing a change. I am definitely feeling the same way. I want to find a new job and I want to move. So where ever I find a job I am moving to that city. I am done with commuting...especially in the winter. I have put a couple of resumes in so far...two in Chicago. I wouldn't mind living in Chicago. So that's all that's going on right now.

WOW!.. Just looked at my insurance claims on the website. Did not realize how much the surgery would cost. Just glad I have insurance. Not sure I would have been able to do this without it.
Not much on the agenda for today. Just dishes and working on some arts & crafts since I have the extra time right now.

Good morning Chris and IL family.
Not much sleep last night at the hotel. The bed isn't doing it for me. I'm going to check into renting a recliner while I am here for the next week.
Food wise I am doing well. I am eating 3-4 bites of chicken and a cracker here and there. I got some protein drink samples from the doctor's office yesterday and will try them. Drinking isn't easy at all. But I am going to do better today. We are going shopping to a Target that has food as well. My JP drains are leaking around the site especially the left, so I am going to need extra dressings. THe ones they gave me at the hospital will not last a whole week. I can't wait to get them out. 7 more days to go! I have to flush my J-tube this morning.
I took my first pain pill during the night. At least I got 3 hours of straight sleep.
Had a few small BM's this morning. I have to see how that is going to work since it is different than having the RNY.
All in all, post-op course is going along on schedule. No fever, no infection. Thank goodness.
It's cool in San Francisco but it is supposed to get hot tomorrow and Thursday. My Mom and I will probably sit outside in the sun for a while (as long as I can tolerate it).
I promise to be at the next get together whenever it is, as long as I don't have a prior commitment. I missed everyone so much.
Nicolle, if you read this post, thanks again for being my angel and getting me through the preliminary stages of the DS.

Just a quick drive by since I have to get to my corporate client! Not much to report today. Liz and I went to the gym last night and had a good work out. Tonight is the final class for the weight loss program I tea*****ary, and Liz is in the running for first place! She is excited. I get a week off then I start the class up again. I start the same class up in Lake Bluff tomorrow if they have any participants. We missed their fall catalog, so it is iffy.

Carol, I am in the process of convincing myself to go check our the 24 hr Premier Fitness we have locally. I really have done very little exercise, and feel that it would kick my loss into a faster gear...I just hate exercise!! BUT I could use the toning that would hopefully go with it. Good luck to you. I bet Bob's video is kick butt!
Christine, I wanted to tell you I was sorry to hear about your business and your move, but hope in the long run it works out perfectly for you and your family.
