Monday Roll Call
Good morning Paul and the rest of Illinois!
I had a nice weekend. Watch Liv cheerlead for the first time Friday night. They did great! Dakota won big too. She went to alock in right after, then I had to pick her up at 6 am. My sleep schedule was a bit off. We relaxed and watched "Remember the Titans" saturday morning and Todd made fire Saturday night. Yesterday, we had a big prime rib neighborhoos dinner at my back-yard neighbors. All the little kids and the big boys joined me for a suirt gun fight that included lots of running and laughter. We got soaked and wore out the little ones just in time for bed. Fun, fun!
Today at work, I have a new computer to contend with. There are programs to be loaded and the usual learning curve that comes with upgrading. That should keep me busy.
I was SO glad to see Christina and hope she continues to keep in touch. I am thinking of Janet and Eddie as they face tough decisions. I am also thinking of Lucy, Monica V and....heck....all of you!

Hello IL!
My full time job right now is to get this house packed up so the pod can be picked up on the 13th and we will head out on the 15th. I don't ask for extra powers very often but today would be a day I would love to be able to snap my fingers and everything be packed and ready to go. If only it worked that way. LOL Such is life.
So today marks four years since my surgery. Wow how time has flown by. It has been an amazing journey with many ups and down along the way. I can't wait to see what the future has instore.
I must get back to work but did want to pop in and say my hellos and thank you all for the kind words and support.

Oh Chris.. I was so scared. I thought to myself.. "what have I gone and done to myself?" Here the Wish Center is closing up, I still have staples, tubes etc in me. Will I have the after care I need??
Dr. R and his team along w/ Calvin, you, Dave and the rest of my OH family have all held my hand thru this journey.

Thanks everyone for your well wishes and prayers!
I am out of the hospital today and it was hard for me and Mom. Surgery went well. No more RNY and band,
I am switched and now join Nicolle and others.

Pre-op/RNY day/pre DS day/current/goal- Realize Band 5/15/08; RNY 6/8/05, Removal Band and RNY to DS 8/25/10. RNY & Band surgeon was Dr. Guske.

First day back to work after a to short summer. I left home this morning at 6:45, and just got home at 5:45. This is the way the next 3 months will be. Oh, well, I really do love my job, most of the time.
Glad to see you are out of the hospital. Now its just relaxing and healing up, before you come home.
Crystal, I get to train a new person on Wed and Thursday. I don't think she realizes how busy we will be. The only positive out of this is my one office will be moving to a bigger office building on Oct. 1. We have to do nothing except move our personal stuff. Plus, they are giving us a receptionist and a 4th person. This will lower the work and stress mode a lot!
I will try to get on tomorrow, stay safe and hydrated.
