question??
I wouldn't "stock up" per say because what you like now before surgery, you may not like at all after. I tried many different ones both before and after and have settled on the generic Meijer brand, chocolate. It's cheap and actually doesn't taste bad at all.
I would maybe just get some sample packs or the smallest sizes you can find until you know what you can tolerate. they can get expensive.
also, congrats on getting approved! Do you know when surgery will be yet?

Like the others have said do not stock up your taste buds will change. Osco and GNC have a ready made called EAS Advant (sorry I am not at home for the exact name) Carb control. You can get them in the four pak in various flavors. If you like the chocolate then Sam's carries that by the case of 24. GNC also has a policy of returning an opened container of powder if you do not like it. Look here on this site for the info on sample powders. Look into the Vitamin Shoppe for their selection and other health food stores.

I just went through the liquid diet on Aug-11/15. My doctors recommend Unjury and Isopure because of how they break down in your body. After that they are not so concerned about which brand you use. I am still using the Unjury. The powders can be mixed into pretty much anything. I use the strawberry with 1 cup of milk and ice to make my own shake.
