Friday Roll Call
Good morning/day to all the of you kids at heart! I am slept out and ready to get on the road, well almost ready . . . need to hop in the shower first, TMI
The tall ships yesterday were fantastic. Being on the replica of the Mutiny on the Bounty was really neat. The boats are so much smaller then the cruise ships we have been on and it makes you wonder how they crossed oceans in them especialy with the waves from stroms around the capes . . . We found out that the boats only come every 4 years and we are so glad that we went and saw them. Each boats rigging was so different. It is a great educational experience for youngsters.
We are also looking forward to the next stop on the weekend journey up to Cedarburg, WI as there is walking and of course shopping! The only thing I am not looking forward to is the construction traffic on I94 once we cross the state line. There are several pockets of construction to go through. I have maps from WI DOT to take with plus our Garmin has traffic alerts.
Looks like we are to have some weather in the next 36+ hours. It is to be a little cooler up there by about 5 deg. and I cannot believe that I have 2 hoodies in the back seat of the car

Hello everyone
Thank god it's Friday....I am soooo looking forward to the end of the day.
What a busy and stressful week at work. I think we are looking good for monthend.
I have no plans for this weekend....except to relax. I am already looking forward to Labor day weekend. Today after work I plan on going to Kohls (I have a $10 off coupon) and Dominicks for some groceries. I have a coupon for them too. I also have one for Target too, but I really don't need anything from Target. Chris have a nice relaing weekend in Cedarburg.
I am kind of discouraged I have been so careful about what I am eating...counting calories, carbs, fat and cholesterol. I have become obsessed with keeping track of what I eat. I am still not losing weight at a steady rate. I just weighed myself and I lost no weight this week!!! I am so tired of this. I never lose weight two weeks in a row. I will lose a pound and then nothing for a 2-4 weeks.

I am up and just about out of the house. Today is an early morning meeting and then back to the house for some phone work. My meeting with the park district yesterday went very well. I should know by next week if they are a go for classes in January. That would give me 3 park districts to teach at. I drop Meredith at my mom's tonight since Liz and I have a training tomorrow. Nic goes to his other family this weekend, so Liz and I have a kid free evening tonight! I think we may go out to dinner. We don't do that very often, so it should be nice.
Crystal, hang in there! Your weight loss is not always linear, but it all adds up. If you want to PM me, I would be glad to look over your numbers and help you to balance your intake. I have a bio impediance analyzer, and that could help you to get a snapshot of what's going on.

Good Morning.
It looks like it is to be a great weekend, weather wise. I am hoping to get some work done outside. But then, I just might plan on a few walks and enjoy the cooler air.
Yesterday afternoon, we went to a park near us and hiked a couple of trails. We hadn't gotten out there all summer, with the heat. Hopefully, we will get out there again in the next few weeks.

Crystal, I know you are frustrated with the no loss weeks. I have been in a slump too for the last few months.

Good Morning IL OH family!
Chris, I hope you and Dave have a wonderful weekend and enjoy yourselves! Be safe in your travels.
I saw the oral sugeon yesterday and he said that because of how my teeth are in my mouth, I can't really clean them and they are all (4) deteriorating. I will be having all 4 pulled on Saturday the 11th of September and he gave me a script for some T3 in the meantime. I am so glad to be able to get this done, but also very nervous because I hate mouth pain! lol They will be knocking me out though because he said the bottoms ones are gonna be tricky. yay me! NOT
Today I am working on homework and sending out resumes. Tonight is Tyler's first football game. It's the longest rival in the area and the team we always start our season out playing. It's West Aurora (us) against East Aurora. There are always a large amount of police force at these games because there has been issues in the past with gang signs being flashed and things like that. Hopefully we'll win without anything happening tonight!
Tomorrow morning, Tyler has a JV game he also plays in at 9:30am. Then it's gonna be a homework filled weekend for me. I have a lot to do.

It looks to be another beautiful day! Wish I could take the afternoon off but since I have already done that 3 times this week, I probably should work and get paid. But it is tempting. I know the opportunity will soon be gone.
My plumbing problem turned out to be minor which was a relief. It was actually what I thought. I have plastic pipes and they had unscrewed themselves and needed to be resealed and tightened. The plumber was only here about a half hour so the bill should not be too bad.
Tonight after work I get my hair done. No special plans for the weekend. Chris, have a super time in Cedarburg.
Monica G. I am glad you got a date to get those wisdom teeth out. Hopefully the dentist gave you some painkillers to get by until the 11th.
Lucy, if you are peeking, in, Congratulations on your surgery. I hear you are doing well and that they have you up and walking. Good signs!

It looks like it will be another nice day....still sore from exercising and of course I made it worse by going to the gym last night....oh well I need to exercise...and lose some more weight...weight loss has really slowed....Crystal...I too hate the stalls in the loss....I wi**** would just come off already....too slow for me.....nothing special on the agenda for the weekend..

Good morning Chris and the rest of Illinois!
I am working today and trying to figure out how to get everything done that needs to be done. Usually, Fridays are my shorter day and I have time for errands and stuff. My co-worker hurt his back and has been out since Tuesday. Being down to only 2 in the office means I have to stay here and not get my running done. I WILL have to sneak out at some point and renew my license plate sticker that HAS to be done.
I would LOVE to go see the tall ships, but I just never seem to be able to fit it into our schedule. Maybe some day.
Olivia is cheering at her first football game tonight. How exciting for her! Then, she is going to a lock in. Todd has softball games, so I will be running the kids in all the different directions.
The washer guy is coming back again today. LONG story, but after almost $ 240.00, it still does not work. I made Todd talk to them and negotiate. I am SO tired of appliance issues. I hope this is the "fix". I could get a brand new one for $535.00, so it is almost not worth putting any more into it. Wish me luck!
