Tuesday Roll Call
It's Tuesday and it's supposed to be a beautiful day, enjoy it if you can. I am trying to stay as upbeat as I can even though it seems my going back to school is a problem for the jobs I am applying for. oh well, I'll find something eventually I guess.
I have an appt on Thursday with the oral surgeon to see what's up and find out how much it's gonna cost to get the 2 removed! I am nervous though, I do not like the dentist at all. I just keep telling myself at least the pain will stop!
Today I am studying for my certification test, doing some cleaning, applying for more jobs and then I start school tonight! Microbiology today and then English and Speech later in the week (online)
What's going on in your corner of the world?
Good morning Monica and IL friends.
It's difficult to juggle school and job hours that will work for both you and the employer. Wish you the best to find a happy medium. Tooth pain is one of the worst pains. I've been through it too.
Today starts my clear liquid day and afternoon bowel prep. Yucky, citrate of magnesia one bottle. At least I didn't have to do the CoLyte prep.
I am going to have a midline incision, there was no way out of that one. I tried and asked him if he could go through my plastic surgery scar from my body lift.
Tomorrow at this time I will be on my way to the hospital. I am one of the first cases of the day. It's going to be an all day surgery approximately 8 hours. That's the longest one for me. Yikes, I am getting scared now since it is so close. I don't think I will remember much of Wednesday. Melissa aka Bumblebee will follow me on Thursday. So I will have a walking buddy in the hospital.
Jello, tea, broth and juice await me for the day. Oh yummy! Maybe I'll lose a pound or two by tomorrow morning.
The weather here has been very warm. I must have brought it from Chicago.
They have a nice pool and jacuzzi; I've been in both. I'm going to try their fitness room this morning. It's my last workout for 2 months.
Have a wonderful day.
Hugs,
Lucy
It is so long because he has to reconnect my RNY to make it a normal stomach, then remove the band and port, then do his DS. Also has to remove any adhesions from previous surgeries.
I am having it open as well so I will have a good size incision scar in the midline section.
YIKES!
Thanks for the prayers and thoughts.
Lucy
